What an amazing “DEBT FREE Celebration Sunday” at Royal Baptist today!
Many thanks to founding Pastor, Dr. Paul Dennis and his wife Sandra, and Billy Jack Green for coming to help us celebrate God’s great faithfulness since day one. It was an incredible blessing to serve & worship the Lord alongside these men of God today!

What a joy as well to recognize these 18 charter members who were present today. Their faithfulness to follow the Lord’s leading to establish Royal Baptist back in 1999 laid the foundation for this body of believers,… and we’re grateful for their ministry and sacrifice!

The Lord has richly blessed us as a church family, …and today was a MILESTONE MOMENT in which we all refresh our commitment as followers of Jesus who will “Love God > BE a Disciple, Love People > MAKE Disciples” for His sake and for His glory! ~ Pastor Steve

Come Worship the Lord our Provider and give Him thanks as we celebrate becoming DEBT-FREE as a church THIS SUNDAY, MAY 31st! We'll have a couple of honored guests and we'll recognize all of our founding members who are present, as well.

Also, ALL ARE INVITED to stay for lunch after Worship. So, please BRING A SIDE DISH to share as we continue to celebrate with a churchwide LUNCH FELLOWSHIP. It's gonna be a exciting day at Royal Baptist!

Church Family,…
We had an awesome time this evening with these fun students! Tonight we talked about our battles against daily distractions,… both external and self-induced. From Scripture, we realized that even the most dangerous, life threatening distractions of this world are nothing new. …and our own distractions could possibly become even a matter of life and death! How so,…?

A woman named Martha was so busy and frustrated with her sister that she became distracted and missed “the good part” of simple being with Jesus,… and right there in her own home! (Luke 10:38-42). What if Jesus came and went from your home,… you knew He was there, but you foolishly neglected coming to know him by choosing not to spend real relational time with Him?!

A man called Peter found himself in a life and death panic in the Sea of Galilee when he became distracted by the stormy wind and
waves. And all he did was take his eyes off Jesus! (Matt. 14:28-33). Just before Peter sank into the deadly depths, he cried out, “Jesus, save me!” And immediately, the strong arm of our Lord reached down and rescued Peter. Distractions can kill you, …especially when they pull you away from a life-giving relationship with Jesus.

God’s word says we must keep “our eyes,” that is, the focus of our heart & life each day, “fixed on JESUS, the author and perfecter of our faith.”
(Heb. 12:2). Only Jesus can help us to avoid (and to quiet) the daily distractions of life,… so that we can and will abide/rest in Him and not miss out on “the good part” of His supernatural peace & presence.

Are you searching for REAL hope and peace with God? Are you ready to cry out, “Jesus, save me!” He’s listening…
