Blessings of the book bags today at Mayer for students going back to school . A milestone for Weston Chapman and Lauren Hurst as they received a blessing , they both now have their drivers licenses and were presented with a gift of a key chain with scripture engraved.

Affirmation of Baptism for Mayer’s graduates, Brady Chapman (Newberry High School ) and Natalie Hurst (Spring Hill High School ). The graduates were given a gift from the church of a handmade quillow ( pillow quilt combination). Pastor Will Dulin performed the Affirmation of Baptism the declaration of permanently being covered by Christ’s love, forgiveness and protection. Just as a quilt covers and warms us God’s grace covers us completely .

We had our second Eastertide celebration! ✝️
There was a fresh salad bar with all the toppings anyone could ask for and that included ham and turkey mini sandwiches. We also had cookies and fresh fruit for dessert .
What a fun evening with fellowship and BINGO 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️! We missed you , join us next time .

Mayer Memorial participated in the Newberry Westend Spring Fling in Willowbrook Park on Saturday April 25. Members of Mayer painted the faces of many children and a few adults. It was a beautiful day in the park 🌞🌳. There was music, food, fellowship and fun.

Eastertide Festivities! The night was started with a meal of some traditional southern Easter Sunday items. We concluded with painting wooden crosses to take home and display . There was lots of fun and fellowship ! If you missed this one we will have another Eastertide fellowship and fun night on May 20th starting with a meal at 6:15.
