Alabad al Señor, porque él es bueno! 🙌🏽 (Praise the Lord for He is good!) We were blessed to be able to fellowship with Iglesia Newark in a combined English and Spanish speaking service yesterday. This service was filled with amor (love), unidad (unity) y el Espíritu Santo (the Holy Spirit) ✝️ God’s Kingdom will not be divided by race or culture, so neither should our church communities on Earth. May we all continue to fellowship and connect with those that come from different backgrounds, to get a true picture of what Heaven will look like 🙏🏽❣️

Friday - Under Spiritual Covering

Scripture - Acts 20:28:"Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers…"

Devotional Thought: God has always worked through spiritual leadership to guide His people. Pastors are gifts from God to help believers grow, mature, and remain grounded in truth.

While no leader is perfect, God's design is perfect. Pastors watch for souls, pray for their congregations, teach God's Word, and provide spiritual guidance during life's challenges.

A transformed mind recognizes the blessing of spiritual covering. Rather than resisting spiritual authority, disciples embrace it as a source of wisdom, protection, and growth.

The healthiest believers are those who remain planted, submitted, and committed to their local church family.

Reflection Question - How can you better support and pray for your pastor and church leadership?

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the spiritual leaders You have placed in my life. Bless my pastor with wisdom, strength, and courage. Help me remain faithful, teachable, and committed to the local church. Amen.

Wednesday: The Blessing of Accountability

Scripture- Ecclesiastes 4:9-10: "Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow…"

Devotional Thought - God never intended us to walk through life alone. Accountability is one of His gifts to the church.

The enemy often works through isolation. When believers become disconnected from spiritual leadership and fellowship, they become vulnerable to deception, discouragement, and temptation.

Accountability is not punishment-it is protection.

God places pastors, mentors, and fellow believers in our lives to encourage us, strengthen us, and help us remain faithful. The strongest Christians are not those who stand alone but those who remain connected to the body of Christ.

Reflection Question: Who has God placed in your life to provide spiritual accountability and encouragement?

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the people You have placed in my life. Help me value spiritual relationships and remain connected to the body of Christ. Let accountability strengthen my walk with You. Amen.

Tuesday - A Teachable Spirit
Scripture: Proverbs 9:9 - "Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser."

Devotional Thought
One of the greatest marks of spiritual maturity is teachability. Pride says, "I already know." Humility says, "Teach me."

The disciples followed Jesus because they were willing to learn. They asked questions, received correction, and allowed Him to shape their thinking. In contrast, the Pharisees often rejected truth because they believed they already had all the answers.

God cannot fill a vessel that believes it is already full.

Today, ask God to keep your heart soft and receptive. The moment we stop learning is the moment we stop growing.

Reflection Question
How do you respond when correction or instruction comes into your life?

Prayer: Father, give me a teachable spirit. Remove pride from my heart and help me receive wisdom, correction, and instruction with humility. Let me continually grow in Your grace. Amen.

Happy Father’s Day to all of our fathers, father figures, and fathers to be! 💙 Brother Kris preached a powerful sermon to continue our Pew to Discipleship series, “Separation & Holiness” 🙏🏽and we celebrated our beloved Pastor White, showering him with gifts and giving him his flowers while he can still smell them 💐 (but his favorite gift was the post-service fellowship 😊) we’re thankful for all of the wonderful men of God in our church family!
