THE WORD FOR TODAY.
SATURDAY, JUNE 13, 2026.

SEEK GENUINE INTIMACY AND PRIORITIZE HIS PURSUIT OVER ENDLESS ACTIVITIES.

LUKE 10:41-42 KJV

“And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: but one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.”

It’s easy to spend a lifetime busying ourselves for God, only to drift further from true closeness with Him.
Busyness becomes dangerous when it replaces intimacy.

Many believe that constantly doing things for God proves spiritual health. They fill schedules with serving, helping, organizing, attending, speaking, and leading; all of these are good. But beneath all the activity, hearts can quietly grow distant from God.

Remember, God never intended your relationship with Him to be a performance.
He is not measuring your worth by exhaustion.
He isn't impressed by relentless activity without genuine connection.
What He truly desires is your heart.

In the story of Mary and Martha, Martha was busy serving while Mary chose to sit at Jesus’ feet. Martha’s work wasn’t wrong, but her heart was distracted, overwhelmed, and anxious. She was physically close to Jesus, yet emotionally preoccupied; meanwhile, Mary prioritized presence over pressure. She knew she needed to sit with Jesus before serving Him.

Today, many believers face this same danger: becoming so engrossed in responsibilities, ministry, goals, and daily demands that they neglect quiet intimacy with God. Over time, activity without closeness can lead to weariness, frustration, and emptiness.

Because no outward movement can replace inward connection.
Here’s what you can do:

* Talk about God without truly spending time with Him.
* Serve others while your soul remains dry.
* Stay busy with religious acts, yet lose sensitivity to His voice.
* Appear spiritually strong while struggling inwardly.

God doesn’t want your relationship with Him to become mechanical.
He invites you into closeness.

One authentic moment in His presence can restore more strength than endless striving. In His presence, your soul is refreshed, priorities are clarified, and your heart remembers what truly matters.

When intimacy with God leads:
* Service becomes joyful, not draining.
* Obedience becomes relational, not obligatory.
* Prayer transforms into a heartfelt conversation.
* Worship turns into sincere praise.

Remember, the goal isn’t to stop serving, it's to serve from a place of genuine connection, not emptiness.
God never asked you to carry everything alone. He wants your work to flow from a deep, loving relationship, not replace it.

Today, pause and examine your heart.
Have you become so busy that you’ve forgotten how to be with Him? Don’t let activity steal what is most precious.
Choose intimacy again.
Choose stillness.
Choose His presence.

Because one moment in true connection with God surpasses many empty actions.

REFLECTION:

Are you prioritizing intimacy or letting busyness replace genuine closeness?
What changes can you make to nurture daily moments with Him?

PRAYER:

Lord, guide me to choose closeness over chaos. Guard my heart from distraction and help me cherish Your presence above all. Teach me to let everything I do flow from a genuine relationship with You. Draw me into quiet, refreshing moments with You where my soul can be strengthened. AMEN!!!

THE WORD FOR TODAY.
THURSDAY, JUNE 11, 2026.

REST IN HIS PRESENCE, EMBRACE HIS PURSUIT, AND FIND TRUE PEACE 2.

EXODUS 33:14-16 KJV

“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? Is it not in that thou goest with us? So shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.”

Moses understood deeply: success without God's presence is empty. Victory, opportunities, possessions, all fade compared to the comfort of God’s presence. His presence isn’t just a blessing; it’s a sign of grace and a mark that we belong to Him.

Because of His presence, we are a beloved, peculiar people. That’s why God’s promise is so powerful: “My Presence will go with you.” Today, that promise remains the greatest gift, that is, God Himself.

Sometimes, miracles aren’t about storms suddenly clearing, but about the peace that keeps us steady amid chaos. When weariness weighs us down, or our hearts feel heavy, God isn’t asking us to fight harder. He’s inviting us to draw nearer.

Come closer.
Sit with Him.
Breathe deeply.
Trust anew.

His presence is a refuge for tired hearts. Don’t measure your spiritual life only by activity or productivity. Cherish the stillness with God. True healing often happens when your soul lingers long enough in His presence to find peace.

Remember: God is not just your Provider. He is your Peace. Your Rest.

REFLECTION:

Ask yourself, is there anything more precious to you than God's presence? Think about the blessings of resting in Him and consider shifting your priorities to seek Him more earnestly.

PRAYER:

Lord, reveal Your face to me. Lead me as You led the children of Israel in the wilderness. Guide me through Your presence. Let pursuing You be my greatest goal each day. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!!!.

ABIDE IN HIM AND EMBRACE HIS PURSUIT.

JOHN 15:4

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you...”

God isn’t rushing you through your relationship with Him; He’s inviting you to stay, to connect truly. Abide in Him, draw strength from His presence, let His pursuit become your pursuit, and keep your eyes fixed on Him.

Abiding means:
- Not rushing past His presence,
- Not reducing Him to a fleeting moment,
- Not approaching Him out of obligation,
- Not seeing Him as just a source of comfort.
Instead, it’s about being still enough to connect truly.

Growth and fruitfulness don’t come from hurried efforts; they flourish when we remain. Practice patience, spend quality time with Him, and watch as you thrive and fully embrace your destiny by staying rooted in His love.

REFLECTION:

Are you rushing through your time with God, or are you truly lingering?

PRAYER:

Lord, teach me to abide in You. Show me how to slow down and cherish every moment in Your presence above all else. In Jesus’ name. AMEN!!!

LET YOUR PURSUIT BE TO LIVE ETERNALLY IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD.

JAMES 4:8

“Come near to God, and He will come near to you…”

God’s pursuit doesn’t erase your response; it invites it. He is already close, but when you intentionally draw nearer, you begin to experience His presence more profoundly.

Connecting with God is straightforward. It happens through small, consistent acts:
A prayer
A pause
A heart turned toward Him

The more you respond, the more aware you become of His presence. Remember, God’s heart is love — He wants you close. His pursuit led Jesus to come as Emmanuel, God with us. Make it your daily goal to seek His presence. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.

REFLECTION:

What simple step can you take today to deepen your connection with God?

PRAYER:

Lord, guide me to draw closer to You each day. Open my heart to Your presence and teach me to stay near You, in Jesus’ name. AMEN!!!

YOU WERE HIS PURSUIT LONG BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN.

EPHESIANS 1:4

“For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world..."

God doesn’t just tolerate you; He desires you deeply. He created, shaped, and chose you long before you ever took a breath, before any decision, before any sign of worth. Everything was planned and prepared for you from the very start. That is why His pursuit of you should become your pursuit of Him. It's the surest path to true success.

This means your relationship with God isn’t forced; it’s fueled by desire. God is not trying to force you into His plan; you’ve always been part of it.

When you realize you are wanted, hesitation melts away. Instead, you approach God with boldness. With confidence. With freedom.
Know His pursuit, and let it become your own.

REFLECTION:

Are you approaching God as someone who is truly wanted, or with doubt and hesitation?

PRAYER:

Lord, help me grasp that you genuinely want me. Clear away my doubts and help me come to You with confidence and freedom in Jesus’ name. AMEN!!!

GOD'S PURSUIT IS CENTERED ON YOU.

ISAIAH 43:1

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine.”

Imagine a God who doesn’t see you as just another face in the crowd but as someone deeply known and cherished. His pursuit of you is personal. He knows your name, your story, and your journey.

This isn’t happenstance; it’s purposeful. When God calls, it’s intentional, meaningful, and designed to draw you closer. This is what makes your relationship with Him authentic.

Build that connection. Take Him seriously. Make His pursuit your pursuit.

Do you see your relationship with God as distant or deeply personal?

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You for knowing me personally. Help me respond to You, not as a stranger but as someone who belongs to You. May Your pursuit be my pursuit, as I always desire to do Your will. In Jesus’ name, inspire my every step. AMEN!!!

LET HIS PURSUIT BECOME YOUR PURSUIT, FOR YOU ARE FOREVER ON HIS MIND.

PSALM 139:17

“How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!”

God doesn't think about you just sometimes, He thinks about you constantly. You may go through your day without a single thought of Him, but He never stops thinking of you. Not out of judgment. Not out of frustration. But out of love, care, and intentional attention.

You are never forgotten. You are never overlooked. Even in your quiet, unnoticed moments, you are always on His mind.

Understanding this shifts how you see God; it deepens your desire to mirror His pursuit, knowing that your journey’s end is already secure. You begin to feel less distant and more connected, realizing that God already knows you intimately and has predestined your victory.

Do you live each day with the awareness that God is constantly thinking about you?

PRAYER:

Many believers say, “I want to get closer to God.” But what if the real issue isn’t distance, but awareness? The truth is, God isn’t distant. He’s near. especially when you least recognize it.

It’s not His absence that’s the problem; it’s often distraction, busyness, or simply overlooking His presence. God doesn’t come and go. His presence is steady and constant.

Once you grasp this, your focus shifts from chasing fleeting feelings to embracing a profound reality. You start noticing Him:
- In quiet moments,
- Through gentle nudges,
- Within everyday conversations.

Closeness with God isn’t something you create; it’s something you realize. Remember, God is closer than you think.

Where might you be missing God’s presence in your daily routine?

PRAYER:
