Be careful not to let someone else’s offense become your offense. Just because they’re upset with the church or disappointed with leadership doesn’t mean you have to change your posture.

You can love people without inheriting their anger. You can listen to their hurt without joining their division.

An angry sheep becomes dangerous when they stop seeking healing and start recruiting other sheep into their offense against the shepherd.

Guard your heart, guard your ear, and use discernment. Don’t let someone else’s temporary frustration cause you to make a permanent decision about something God has assigned to your life.
