Congratulations to Aaron Liberman (AC '10, HS '14) on being awarded the 2026 Israel Physical Society Prize for Outstanding PhD Thesis. An honor presented annually to a single PhD graduate across all universities in Israel and every discipline of Physics.

Aaron completed his PhD in Physics at the Weizmann Institute, where his research focused on the field of Optics and Plasma Physics. This award recognizes Aaron for making a groundbreaking contribution to his field and for pioneering a new methodology.

We are incredibly proud of Aaron and all that he has accomplished. His achievement reflects years of intellectual curiosity, perseverance, and dedication, built upon the strong academic foundation he developed at SAR where he was especially inspired by Mr. Zamir.

Mazal tov, Aaron! We look forward to seeing the impact your work will continue to have on the world of Science.

Four siblings. Four graduation years. One SAR family.

For many families, graduation is part of a story that unfolds over years, and sometimes across generations.

Mazal tov to our 184 SAR High School graduates and 95 SAR Academy graduates as they join the ever-growing network of SAR alumni!

The Class of 1975 came home. 💛🖤

As SAR’s very first graduating class, they were true trailblazers! They began their journey in the Carriage House and continuing on to the “Mansion,” both part of the historic Toscanini Estate that became SAR.

Fifty years later, they reunited from near and far, joining us from across the U.S., Israel, and even Scotland, both in person and on Zoom.

It was so special to welcome them back, hear their memories, and reconnect with the group that experienced SAR at its very beginning.
