In accordance with the principles of Conservative Judaism, our mission is to provide a dynamic environment in which all Jews can grow in Jewish living.

We are dedicated to enlightening the mind through learning, nourishing the soul through prayer, and creating a caring community. Enlightening the mind through learning. There’s nothing like a little friendly competition, lots of schmoozing, and the thrill of a win. (Congratulations to our latest champion! Julie, we're looking at you! 🎉)

Come for a fun evening of Mahjong and schmoozing, and stay for evening minyan. Or come for minyan and stay for a game!

Players should already know how to play and bring their own Mahjong cards.

Walkway repair has officially begun!!!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community through the L’eila Ul’eila: Above and Beyond campaign, work is officially underway to replace the Henry Hudson Parkway walkway, ramp, and steps!

This important project will improve accessibility, safety, and the experience of entering our building for years to come. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this possible.

A little rain couldn’t dampen our spirits!

Despite a soggy evening at Wave Hill last night, the CSAIR community showed up with warm vibes, great food, and incredible energy. We had a fantastic time gathering with Rabbi Barry Dov Katz, connecting with friends and families, and enjoying the incredible rhythms of the Djékady Trio.

Today, Dianne Meranus was carefully restoring our Torah reading table cover and Ark curtain by hand, ensuring these items will continue to be used and cherished by generations to come.

These beautiful pieces were originally donated for Pesach 5769 by Charles and Pearl Moerdler in memory of their late parents (Parochet-Ark curtain) and Walter (z"l) and Marjory Tolub in honor of their children and grandchildren (table cover). Their gifts have been a meaningful part of our community for many years.
