Happy Solemnity of the Immaculate Heart of Mary! Let’s pray the Memorare to our Blessed Mother and entrust everything in her hands.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Happy solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus! Let’s pray the Memorare to Christ’s Sacred Heart and offer up all the intentions we hold in our hearts.

Remember, O most kind Jesus, that none who have had recourse to Your Sacred Heart, implored its assistance, or called for mercy, have ever been abandoned.

Filled and animated by this same confidence, O divine Heart, Ruler of all hearts, I fly to You, and oppressed beneath the weight of my sins, I prostrate myself before You.

Despise not Your unworthy child, but grant me, I pray, an entrance into Your Sacred Heart. Sustain me in all my combats and be with me now, and at all times, but especially in the hour of my death. O gracious Jesus! O amiable Jesus! O loving Jesus! Amen.

On Sunday, June 7, a Eucharistic procession made its way around St Benedict Parish in celebration of the feast of the Body and Blood of Christ. Participants publicly expressed their faith in the Real Presence, thereby acknowledging that Jesus Christ is truly present in the consecrated bread and wine.

This procession route took place around the parish grounds. Fr. Adaikala Raja John, SDB, warmly invited everyone in the parish community to participate in this Eucharistic procession, which he hopes will become an annual ritual.

Learn all about how the Eucharistic procession and day went by reading the article below!

Sr. Domenica is the oldest FMA in the SEC Province (Salesian Sisters - Daughters of Mary Help of Christians), and Fr. John is the oldest SDB in the Eastern USA part of the SUE Province.

God bless Sr. Domenica, Fr. John, and all of our FMAs, SDBs, and every member of the Salesian Family!

Today marks the memorial of Bl. Stephen Sandor, who came to know Don Bosco by reading the Salesian Bulletin.

He embraced the Salesian charism and, like Don Bosco, became a model teacher and master printer. His students would go on to work at the best printeries in his city and state. When faced with fear, Bl. Stephen Sandor did not run. Instead, he held onto courage and was ultimately martyred.

Lord, help emulate Bl. Stephen Sandor’s cheerfulness as both a pupil and a teacher. May we pray for the good of our mentors and students. We ask this with pure hearts full of joy and loving-kindness. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Mary Help of Christians, pray for us! St. John Bosco, pray for us! Bl. Stephen Sandor, pray for us!

Today is the anniversary of Don Bosco's priestly ordination. One hundred and eighty-five years ago today, on June 5, 1841, our founder was ordained a priest at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Turin, Italy.

Let us pray for vocations to the Salesian religious life and that all Salesians follow Don Bosco’s example of presence and loving-kindness with everyone whom they encounter, especially the young and the poor, always.

Happy Trinity Sunday! We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.

Thank you Lord, the One, true God — God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Bless us, sustain us, and guide us, your children, now and always. Amen.
