Pastor Sally Meyer The Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church was organized in 1820.

The congregation first worshipped in a log building in Mt Pisgah, Ohio
In 1864 present buiding was constructed, surrounded by 7 acres of ground,
a portion of which served as a burial place for pioneer families. In 1907 the
vestibule with bell was added. The sunday school room was added in 1962
