Marcia's Poem of the week from Hebrews 2:14-18. (Luke 19:41).Jesus saw the city and “wept over it.”

“JESUS WEPT”

As a human you are soft and frail,
The dust of the earth is your veil,
And the Lord is your divine light,
And He came to you in flesh at night.

Born into a human family,
He experienced death and humanity,
And walked like man on earthly sod,
A powerful person of flesh and blood.

Resurrection conquered the works of evil,
For He too faced Satans upheaval,
And He came to free us of fear and death,
And brought to us His love and strength.

He walked fully God and fully man,
To bring you and I His saving plan,
Although He remained sin free,
He gave His Spirit to you and me.

The Holy Spirit is now our helper,
Where we're offered hope, love and shelter,
It is He who has given us new life,
Freedom from evil and worldly strife.

HEAVENLY ANGELS

We are to learn about heavenly Angels,
Because all scripture is God breathed,
And to learn of them is meaningful,
For their love for humankind is perceived.

They serve as God's Divine Messengers,
They continually praise and worship God,
They protect and guide earthly individuals,
And are forces against evil on earths sod.

Marcia's poem of the week Matthew 6:13 nlt "but rescue us from the evil one."

RESCUED

With a heavy heart I was chained by fear,
Where evil surrounded my mind and soul,
Its heavy shadow followed near,
Leaving my Life and Will out of control.

And like a drug it filled me with fright,
While facing the bitterness of my fate,
And losing all sense of wrong and right,
My heart bore heavily under its weight.

I called to the Lord and made my plea,
I knew it was He who could rescue me,
Alone fear and trembling was my fate,
But His amazing love healed every ache.

He'll cover you with warmth and light,
No more dark, No more night,
Once the weight of darkness has passed,
His rescue and healing gives a Love to last.

The Lord God has great love for you,
And cares about everything you do,
He made you smart and made you brave,
And watches over you in every way.
He gave you talents and abilities,

And His love helps you do all you can.
Everyday you'll walk in His care,
And it is in His love you'll share,
As He helps you grow, you'll Excel,
