Marcia's Poem of the Week, 5/22/2026 Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:7 " But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us."

A JAR OF CLAY

You have treasure in this Jar of Clay,
To help make you ready and willing,
To deliver God's power each day,
No other action is more fulfilling.

You need not fret or be wearied,
About what God would have you do,
You need not be brilliant or be clergy,
For it is only your love that is due.

You needn't climb a mountain on your own,
Or walk thirsty over hot desert sand,
Or work your fingers to the bone,
But need only go forth with a helping hand.

You needn't fall face down over a waterfall,
Or be expected to serve in a war zone,
But you are created to hear God's call,
And know He will not leave you alone.

You're not to fret, worry or feel crushed,
For the Lord goes with you every step,
You're to serve the just and the unjust,
With the Lord you're equipped and adept.

The Lord uses the skill you've been warded,
And that's His Glory, Word and your Prayer,
For you are to agree and move forward,
For you have much clay in your Jar to share.

YOU ARE GODS CHILDREN

The Lord calls on girls or boys,
To know and to share His love,
Understanding of His word brings joys,
As each one serves the Father above.

But how might you serve in this place,
What might you say or what might you do,
Since you want to put a smile on God's face,
Loving one another is for all including you.

Be kind in your ways toward all others,
Be helpful and giving when you can,
For everyone belongs to God the Father,
All of us are brothers and sisters in His plan.

Marcia's Poem of the Week

Dear all, Sending Love and Prayers. GODS LOVE Scripture from1 Corinthians 13: 4-8.

GOD'S LOVE

Our Spirit seeks the promised land,
Inching closer and closer each day,
And as the Lord God holds our hand,
We can boldly walk His way.

We make mistakes like a debtor,
We do works that are at times wrong,
And we hope always to do better,
To be more giving and to be strong.

But we may not do that everyday,
And we do need help along the path,
For being human gets in our way,
Where we are subject to God's wrath.

But He is Just and He is a Lover,
And He forgives us of our sin,
Not wanting us to fail or suffer,
He gives us a chance to begin again.

We can hardly take a breath this hour,
Without admiring how great He is,
For it is our dream and our desire,
That our heart beats-in-time with His.

YOUR RAINBOW VIEW

When a rainstorm ends,
And the Sun peeks through,
An Arch of color ascends,
Covered in Heaven's dew.

It has a short lived beauty,
Unaffected by anything you do,
For it's not an object of duty,
It's a loving Promise to you.

It does not offer a pot of gold,
For your watchful eyes to see,
But it is stunning to behold,
And comes with a guarantee.

From the beginning to the end,
Whether by land, sky or sea,
All Beauty comes from Him,
With His Signature to see.

Marcia Riehle Poem of the Week for Friday May 8, 2026 ”MAKE A BETTER WORLD” Matthew 5: 43-44

MAKE A BETTER WORLD

To make the World a better place,
We need to start new each day,
Helping others live in God's grace,
And letting nothing block our way.

Is it not our own desiring,
That affects the choices we make,
And desires influence our thinking,
Making us act-out for egos sake.

We're to see others as more deserving,
And place others above our way,
We're to let go of our selfish wanting,
And make the Lord our hope and stay.

Greed is an insatiable desire,
But our charity will make life sweet,
We know the Lord is our supplier,
And it's His desire we're to seek.

We're called to pour out God's glory,
And not forget that His love is key,
For there is no better Human story,
Then when the Lord sets us free.

Marcia's Poem of the week for great grandchildren

LOVE IS HIS GOOD NEWS

In our world bad things do happen,
And many people are hurt everyday,
And we know our World is broken
And many are in harm's way..

We're to live life as God chooses.
For He sent His Holy Spirit here,
To fill us with His “Good News,”
So we'll know He's always near.

For the Bible says much about sin,
And the worry, hurt and fear it causes,
We need to read His Word to begin,
To serve His Love in the way He calls us.

Marcia's Poem of the week Proverbs 4: 7 & 12 April 24, 2026 8
WISDOM

Wisdom guides the why and when to share,

For it's the embodiment of God's grace,

And by thoughts that makes us aware,

It holds and carries us in God's embrace.

The Bible calls the name of Wisdom,

One who speaks and acts with strength,

By the guidance and rule of God's Kingdom,

Where we're watched over by what we think.

Wisdom brings to us the Crown of Grace,

And a noble Crown of Beauty,

Wisdom brushes soft against our face,

For wisdom is our humanitarian duty.

When we’re led by wisdom's plan,

Our stepping will not stumble,

For a life of wisdom is in demand,

Where conduct need be forever humble.

It's more than beauty we get know,

In Wisdom's embrace we'll be lifted,

We'll receive a God-fearing life as we go,

Lay-hold of Wisdom and you'll be gifted.

SUNDAY SCHOOL WISDOM Poem of the week for great grandchildren.

My Sunday School teacher, Mr. Parker,

Was an older man exactly my size,

I was 11 when he was our teacher,

And I thought he was amazing and wise.

His love of the Lord stirred my heart,

Making him much bigger than he was,

Holding hands in prayer was our part,

Before Sunday's lesson was shared with us,

He brought the Lord alive in each heart,

We were moved by the way he shared,

His storytelling was like a fine art,

Teaching about the Lords life, he prepared.

God's love and kindness was fully given,

For Mr. Parker was an emissary for the Lord,

He inspired us to see the Lord in our living,

And nourished our hunger as he taught the Word.
