🏠🎄 COULD YOUR HOME BE PART OF THIS YEAR’S CHRISTMAS TOUR OF HOMES?

The Tuscarawas County Heritage Home Association is looking for several more homes for this year’s Christmas Tour of Homes, with a special focus on south New Philadelphia and the Oldtown Valley area.

The Heritage Home Association is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the homes, buildings, architecture and history of Tuscarawas County. The organization encourages historic preservation, educates the community about restoration and local architecture, and helps keep the history and character of our communities alive for future generations.

The annual Christmas Tour of Homes is the organization’s major fundraiser, helping support its preservation, educational and community efforts throughout Tuscarawas County.

We’re especially excited that St. Peter’s Church of Oldtown Valley will be one of the featured stops on this year’s tour!

And here’s something important — your home does NOT have to be historic! If you have an older farmhouse, new build, unique property, or simply love to decorate for Christmas, we want to hear from you!

If you’re interested in having your home included — or know someone whose home might be a great addition — please reach out! Even if you’re not sure, we’d be happy to tell you more about what’s involved.

🍲 Feast & Fellowship is TONIGHT!

Come hungry and join us at St. Peter’s Church of Oldtown Valley for a warm meal and good fellowship.

Tonight’s menu includes chicken noodle soup, vegetable soup, sandwiches, hot dogs, coleslaw, desserts and more!

🏕️ CAMP FAITH VBS — DAY 3! 👣✝️

And just like that… Camp Faith came to an end! 🥹❤️

For our final day, we learned that JESUS IS THE WAY and what it means to keep Following Jesus One Step at a Time.

The kids made stepping stones and decorated gourd birdhouses (grown and handcrafted locally by Rick Keffer) raced and played, enjoyed pizza and ice cream, sang our VBS songs, and gathered together one last time to hear the most important message of the week — Jesus loves them and wants them to follow Him. ❤️

👣 Jesus shows us the way.
🙏 We can trust Him.
✝️ And wherever we go, we can choose to follow Jesus.

We ended our three days with full bellies, messy hands, lots of laughter, and some pretty wonderful memories. 🥰

A HUGE thank you to our volunteers, families, and everyone who helped make Camp Faith VBS 2026 possible!!!!

Most of all, thank you to every child who spent these three days with us. We loved having you!

💦 CAMP FAITH VBS — DAY 2 🏕️

Day 2 of Camp Faith was packed with fun as we continued Following Jesus One Step at a Time! 👣✝️

We learned that even though God created a beautiful and perfect world, sin entered the world and separated us from God — but that wasn't the end of the story. ❤️

The kids learned about prayer, made their own prayer rocks, and then it was time to head outside for some serious WATER FUN! 💦😂

Between the water slides, friends, laughter, snacks, crafts, and learning more about God's love, Day 2 was one we won't soon forget!

Our big truth for the day:

❤️ We all make mistakes.
🙏 We can always talk to God.
✝️ God loves us and made a way for us through Jesus.

Another wonderful day at Camp Faith! 🌲🏕️

🌲 Day 1 of Camp Faith is in the books! 🏕️✝️

Following Jesus One Step at a Time! ❤️

We kicked off VBS learning about Creation and the amazing world God made. The kids headed outside for a nature adventure, explored with binoculars and magnifying glasses, collected some pretty impressive treasures 🌿 made their own little bugs 🐞 , enjoyed snacks together, gathered around our “campfire” for our Bible lesson and practiced our worship song to perform for our friends and families this Sunday!! (Aug. 16th)

But the most important thing we wanted them to know:

🌎 God made everything.
💛 God made it good.
👧👦 And God made each one of THEM on purpose.

We are so thankful for every child who joined us and for all of the volunteers who helped make Day 1 possible. There were lots of smiles, lots of laughs, a little bit of chaos 😂, and a whole lot of memories made.
