Hello Lifebridge!

Just a reminder that for tomorrow's church service, we are gathering with the rest of our regional Evana church families at Kidron Mennonite Church. There's also a great night planned for this evening. If you would like yo find a way to carpool or if you have empty seats in your car and would be willing to give someone a ride, please let me know. Here's the weekend's itinerary:

SATURDAY, JUNE 11
6:30 - 7 PM - worship
7-8 PM - input session with message by Pastor Jim Bartholomew
8 PM - ice cream social and youth activities

SUNDAY, JUNE 12
9:15 - 10 AM - coffee and pastries available
10 - 11:30 AM - worship service, with message by Evana Executive Director Matt Hamsher
Noon - 1:15 PM - lunch (please RSVP if you plan to dine with us)
1:30 - 2:30 PM - session with panel discussion
2:30 - 3 PM - closing worship

I hope you are able to make some, if not all, of this weekend's events. It will be a great time to connect with our greater family of faith within Evana Network!

Hi, church! The Leadership Team met last night and agreed to modify our current COVID Plan. Here are the details:

As of January 19th, 2022, the Leadership Team has updated our church’s COVID-19 plan. Going forward, we have opted to eliminate our three Levels and, instead, enact what we’re calling Peak Sundays. This Sunday, we are still in a modified Level 2 of our church's COVID-19 plan. This means that we will continue to require masks for all adults in the building on Sunday morning at our service. UPDATE REGARDING SERVICE TOMORROW:

We will only be having a 10:15 am service tomorrow morning.

With multiple households sharing that they will opt to stay home tomorrow morning out of caution and/or conviction, the Leadership Team has opted to pivot to holding one service.

This Sunday, January 9th, we are in a modified Level 2 of our church's COVID-19 Plan. Tuscarawas County’s case count is currently at 962 per 100k which is close to our Level 3.

Just a friendly reminder that we respectfully will be requiring masks for all adults in the building on Sunday morning at our 10:15 am church service. If you are uncomfortable either with attending service during a peak or with masking during service, we respectfully ask that you worship at home with loved ones by watching our Livestream on Facebook. For the sake of serving those who are more vulnerable in our church community, maintaining church unity, and submitting to our church leaders whom God has given authority to lead our church community, we ask that you please respect the mask requirement.

We invite you to join us for our Candlelight Christmas Eve service at 05:00pm. We will sing carols, hear a short sermon, and conclude with a song as we together light candles, celebrating the dawning of the light of the world that is Jesus.

Our mission is to form Spirit-empowered followers of Jesus of Nazareth who seek to be with Him, become like Him, and do what He did in their homes, neighborhoods, places of work, and beyond.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

With Tuscarawas County’s case county currently at 599 per 100,000, we as a church will be at Level 1. Here are a couple key pieces of information for you to know:

1. We will be having two separate but identical worship gatherings at 9:00am and 10:15am.
2. Children’s ministry will take place at our 10:15am gathering.
3. There will be no church lunch this Sunday.
4. The leadership team has opted to not require registration.
5. We have spread out chairs in the sanctuary, allowing individuals and households to socially distance themselves.

While masks aren’t required at Level 1, masks and hand sanitizer will be located at all entrances should you feel comfortable utilizing them.

Join us for this movie night!

MOVIE NIGHT! Girls ONLY! the Shade

This Friday. Come at 7:30pm, light-hearted, PG-13 movie will start at 8pm or as soon as it’s dark enough. Kids are welcome too.

We will have homemade ice cream. Bring a blanket/chair and dollar or two to help pay for snacks if you can.

Come hang out and fellowship. We’ll be outside so we can socially distance.

All women who love this project are welcome whether we’ve met you yet or not.
