NewPointe Church - Dover

We want to make our Dover campus aware of an important update for this weekend.

We recently discovered mold in some areas of our Kids environment. Out of an abundance of caution, we are temporarily closing all Next Gen Ministry areas (all ages, birth through high school) at Dover while the situation is professionally assessed and addressed.

We have been informed that this is not black mold, but when it comes to the safety and well-being of our kids, families, and volunteers, we will always choose caution over convenience. These spaces will remain closed until we are confident they are safe to reopen.

Our regular worship service at Dover is still happening, and families have a few options this weekend:

- Bring your family into the Big Room with you. Your whole family is welcome to worship together, and we’ll have activity bags available for kids during the service.
- Visit another NewPointe campus. Kids & Student Ministries will be available at our other campuses.
- Join us online from home. Worship with us as a family beginning at 9 AM at newpointe.org or on YouTube.

Our team is working to determine the full extent of the issue and the appropriate next steps. We will keep you informed as we learn more and will let you know when the Kids and Students environments are ready to reopen.

This is a precautionary decision, not a reason for panic.

We love our church family and are committed to creating environments where everyone is safe, cared for, and able to experience the love of Jesus.

CID 2026 - What a day! ❤️🙌

Community Impact Day is one of our favorite Sundays of the year because the Church isn't just gathered, it's scattered throughout our community, being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Thank you to every person who gave their time, energy, and heart to serve. Together, we showed our community that they are seen, valued, and loved.
