CORRECTION -- THE A/C IS WORKING NOW! Please disregard the earlier message below -- the sanctuary A/C is now working, and it's comfortable in there! Thanks to our property committee "angels" for your hard work! Praise God for A/C in New Orleans in August!

‼️Heads up! A/C is out in the sanctuary so we are worshipping in the Fellowship Hall this morning at 10:30. It’s not super-cool in there either (but still tolerable) - so dress comfortably! 🥵

This Sunday, August 30, songwriter/speaker/author David LaMotte will visit SCAPC for a day of love and music! He will lead a Sunday School class, "Which Kind of Love", at 9:30 a.m. and give a concert at 5 p.m., both in Frampton Fellowship Hall. There will be nursery care during the 9:30 class as well as children’s activities in the second floor Learning Center.
David is heralded by BBC Radio Belfast as bringing “charm, stories, insightful songs, sweet voice, and dazzling guitar ability” to his events. He has spoken to the Presbyterian Church (USA) Mission to the United Nations and at peace conferences in India, Australia, Germany, and the Scottish Parliament.

Don't look now but this Sunday is Pentecost! 🔥🔥🔥

We will NOT have worship in the LPC sanctuary and will instead join Jefferson Presbyterian Church to kick off our summer shared worship series with other NOLA-area Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) churches! (Newly) commissioned pastor Briana Mayfield will preach on spiritual gifts in 1 Corinthians 14: "Great Tongues of Fire!" and we will enjoy inspiring worship and music followed by food and fellowship!

So join us this Sunday 5/24 at 11:00am at Jefferson Presbyterian Church 4451 E Falk Pl., Jefferson, LA 70121.

(If you come to LPC, no one will be there! And if you come at 10:30, you will be half an hour early!)

Wear red for Pentecost (if you like!), and see you in CHURCH!
