Parking: There is plenty of parking in the Church Parking lot located directly behind the church. On
the Menu:

The New Orleans area has a staggering homeless population. According to a recent news article in the Times Picayune newspaper, the New Orleans metro area has the second highest rate of homelessness in the nation, standing at three times the national average. This event will help to fund the purchase of vouchers that are redeemable for an overnight stay voucher at the Salvation Army facility on Claiborne Avenue in New Orleans. All proceeds are used by Lakeview Presbyterian Church for the purchase of homeless vouchers from the Salvation Army. These homeless vouchers are then distributed to the homeless at the Program of Hope homeless ministry located at First Presbyterian Church, located at 5401 S.
