Aurora United Methodist Church Services are Sundays at 10:00 am. We are located on the corner of Berkley and Eton in Algiers. Come join us on Sundays either in person or digitally!

Sunday’s Worship Service begins at 9:00 am in the Sanctuary. Holy Communion is celebrated every first Sunday of the month. Throughout the Week:

There are AA meetings on Monday nights at 7:00 pm. Overeaters Anonymous Meets Tuesdays at 7:00 pm. The Boy Scouts Troop 4 meet on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm. The Girl Scouts Troop 40685 meets the First and Third Friday of the month at 3:15 pm. Office Hours: Mo

Happy 58th Birthday to the United Methodist Church

On April 23, 1968, Bishop Reuben H. Mueller, of The Evangelical United Brethren Church, and Bishop Lloyd C. Wicke, of The Methodist Church, joined hands at the General Conference in Dallas, Texas. They declared “Lord of the Church, we are united in Thee, in Thy Church and now in The United Methodist Church.”

At the beginning of a new year, many United Methodists renew their covenant with God with a Covenant Service and a recitation of the Wesley Covenant Prayer--a prayer which John Wesley adapted from the Puritan tradition.

The prayer invites us to rededicate our lives to serving as Jesus' representatives in the world. It invites us into participating in self-emptying love.
