Some baptism joy from Sunday, August 23! 💦

We were so excited to celebrate Myles’s baptism and officially welcome them into the family of God! What a gift to get to be part of these moments and to promise, together, to keep showing up as he grows in faith.

As kids all around our community head back to school this week, we’re holding them (and all the grown-ups getting them out the door!) in prayer. 💛

God, be with our kids as they begin another school year. Be there in the excitement and the nerves, in new classrooms and familiar hallways, with old friends and people they haven’t met yet. Give them teachers and staff who see them, friends who make them laugh, and people who make school feel like a place where they belong.

On the really good days, celebrate with them. On the hard days, remind them that one grade, one mistake, one rough day, or one tough moment never gets to define who they are.

And through all of it, remind them again and again that they are loved. By their families, by this community, and always, always by you.

Amen.
