Extra! Extra! Read all about it! The 1st ever Mac-N-Cheese cook off is this coming Sunday, April 14th at Anoka UCC following 2nd service. All proceeds will go to the Abbie N Larson Memorial Campsite. Bring your best Mac-n-cheese recipe and your family and friends, and try your best to come home with bragging rights!

Spring is in the air! And that means summer is just around the corner, which means it’s cabin time!!! The best time of the year.

We open the cabin May 11th this year. Come for any portion of the day that works for you and help us get the property and cabin ready for a summer filled with people and fun!

Contact the page to schedule your time at the cabin for the summer. At this time, we will limit the weekends to three per family, to ensure all of our church families can have an opportunity to enjoy the glorious space that is Abbie N Larson Memorial Campsite. We will open up more opportunities for families if the weekends don’t get filled. And remember-the weekdays are just as incredible at the cabin.

And remember-with the exception of 6/23-29 and 8/8-11, the campsites are available for tent camping and RVs. You could come nearly every weekend all summer long!

Many thanks to the campsite spring open crew today: Judy and Dean Seguin, Chuck, Tana, Isabel and Declan Seguin, John, Jessica, Andy, Emmitt and Claire Comstock, Krystal and Summer Crawford, Daniel Holder
The dock is in, the cabin cleaned, downed tree cut up and stacked, basement cleared of junk. We have arranged for getting the water turned on and next week Adam Goshey is getting the mowers prepped for spring and the pontoon in the water.
We had a very productive meeting about the Campsite’s needs and possibilities.

Anyone else planning their summer getaways!?! I’m so excited for camping and bonfires and fishing.

We’re busy making plans to get the campsite ready. Weekends in the cabin are filling up fast but we have a few still open and plenty of room for tents and a few RV hook ups. Did I mention the new bathroom and shower available for campers in the cabin basement?

The Abbie N Larson campsite is officially closed for the season. Many thanks to the closing crew: Daniel Holder, Adam Goshey, the a Seguins (Dan, Judy, Chuck, Tana, Isabel and Declan)! We winterized the cabin, shut off the water, winterized the mowers, tarped the pontoons, winterized one outboard motor and helped Adam remove the other and load it onto his trailer (no small task). Adam is going to work on it over the winter to see if he can get it working.

Started the "new" pontoon today for about 30 seconds. Need to hook it up to a water source to determine if it will work in the water. Does anyone have access to the "ear muffs" that allow water from a hose to be plugged into the motor?
