IDES is in need of volunteers. They can't help unless people show up. If you could schedule a day to come out and help, even if it is just for a couple of hours, they'd appreciate it. So far, IDES has cleaned out 6 or 7 basements, done demo in a couple of others, moved debris, hauled away appliances to dumping sites, and reached out to more who need help.

We are in Phase One. Immediate needs and cleanup. The goal is to get water and debris out so that mold doesn't get into the rest of the house. That alone can save the homeowner thousands of dollars. That may look like moving stuff out of basements, cleaning up, and demoing to save the structure of the house.

Right now, IDES is scheduling volunteers out to September 5th.
We have an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus!
