You are welcome to join us on September 6, 2026, starting at 3 PM at the LITTLE ZORAH missionary Baptist Church.

A NEW CHAPTER PUSH is deeply committed to empowering young individuals and guiding them away from the perils of criminal activity. We recently undertook a significant initiative, organizing an impactful visit for a group of young people to the Angola State penitentiary. The primary objective of this program was to provide a stark and tangible illustration of the consequences of a life of crime, thereby serving as a powerful deterrent and encouraging them towards more positive life choices.

Prior to facilitating this crucial youth retreat, we proactively engaged with various organizations and potential sponsors throughout the Iberia parish, seeking vital support and resources. While our intentions were met with understanding, we regret to inform you that our outreach efforts did not result in the necessary sponsorships to expand the reach of this program as widely as we had hoped.

Despite these challenges, A NEW CHAPTER PUSH has independently funded and conducted similar retreats on numerous occasions. However, our resources have consistently limited us to assisting only a small number of participants in each instance. Our unwavering vision is to significantly broaden our impact, reaching and positively influencing the lives of a much larger segment of our community's youth.

We remain steadfast in our dedication to this cause and will continue to pursue opportunities to offer these life-altering experiences. We sincerely hope that in future endeavors, those who were unable to contribute previously will consider partnering with us. The young people within our community critically need our collective support and guidance to thrive. With shared commitment and compassion, we can collectively nurture a hopeful future for them.
