This Sunday at Henry Christian Church, we're celebrating Father's Day with a special message from guest speaker Ed Berry.

Being a dad is one of life's greatest blessings, but it can also be one of its greatest challenges. Many fathers wrestle with fear, insecurity, doubt, and the pressure of feeling like they don't measure up. This Sunday, we'll have an honest and encouraging conversation about what it means to lead, love, and engage with your children in a way that leaves a lasting impact.

You'll hear practical wisdom, real-life stories from dads in our church family, and encouragement for every man, whether you're a father, grandfather, mentor, or simply someone who wants to make a difference in the next generation.

If you've ever wondered how to be more present, more intentional, or simply a better dad than you were yesterday, this message is for you.

Our VBS Mission this week is Fire Mission Ministries in Shelbyville. They work with Veterans, housing them and helping meet their needs while helping them get back on their feet and sharing the love of Christ with them.

Our goal is $500 and we are really close! If we get $500, Bethanee and the Fire Mission team will be getting pied in the face tomorrow night!

If we get $1000, Pastor Larry will get pied in the face and we will post the video here and show it on Sunday!!!!

YOU can give online to help us get to our goal! It is such a worthy cause (and let’s be real: who doesn’t want to see Pastor Larry get pied in the face?!)

Look at all these little blessings! ❤️

Over the past year, our church family has welcomed at least FIVE new babies into the world, and we couldn’t be more excited. Seeing families grow and children being raised in a church that loves Jesus is something worth celebrating.

We are thankful for each of these precious little ones and the families God has entrusted with them. Join us in praying that they would grow in wisdom, strength, and faith as they learn to follow Him.

Our church nursery might be getting a little louder… but our hearts are getting a whole lot fuller! 👶🍼💕

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice purchased freedoms that we often take for granted, and we are deeply grateful.

This Memorial Day, may we take a moment to reflect on the courage, selflessness, and love demonstrated by those who laid down their lives for others.

We especially lift up the families who carry both pride and grief today. We pray for God’s comfort, peace, and strength to surround them.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13
