The Chabad Center for Jewish Student Life at Rutgers University is where Jewish students of all backgrounds find an exciting Jewish student center all their own! It’s a fun, busy, entertaining and challenging community within Rutgers with a massive buffet of Jewish events and rich opportunities for celebration, discover and education.
Rutgers Chabad is pulsating with activity, excitement, joy and Jewish pride. Here Jewish students at Rutgers find a warm, welcoming community, valuable resources and non stop events, parties and community service programs.

Our Epic History...
Since 1978 the Chabad House has been a beacon at the crossroads, serving the religious, educational, social and cultural needs of the thousands of Jewish students at Rutgers University. The Chabad House has provided thousands of our young people with a place they can call home and a vibrant, inclusive community in which they are unequivocally accepted and embraced. The Chabad House also serves the community and sponsors award-winning community service opportunities, tzedaka fundraising, and campus Israel advocacy.
