Thank you so much for your generosity, church! We are looking forward to dropping this off at Bangert Elementary this week. We know this will be a huge blessing for the students and teachers as they start the new school year!

THIS SUNDAY!!

This year, we begin a new partnership with Bangert Elementary, located in Trent Woods. They are in need of some specific supplies to help stock the classrooms with items they need to have a great school year. The items needed are:

Dry Erase Markers
Sharpies
Tissues
Clorox Wipes
Hand Sanitizer
Paper Towels
Pencil Boxes (Not Pouches)
Backpacks

We have a bin set up in the lobby on Sunday. Help us stuff backpacks for our Bangert Bears and get the school year off to a right start!

Our 2026 Guatemala Encounter Team has started its journey to Guatemala City this morning. Please be praying for their time, the people they will meet, and for them to see God's work in Roca Firme, Zone 18, and the country of Guatemala. Today we rest. We remember. We pause. We trust. As we sabbath from our regular gathering today, we invite you to reflect on all God has done. To slow down enough to discover how He is already working in our lives. To trust that we do not make the world go round; only He can.

DON'T FORGET! Our Summer Sabbath Sunday is tomorrow!

There is a reason that once God created human beings, the first thing He commanded them to do was rest. He modeled it in Creation. We are designed to connect to Him by resting and trusting in His provision for us. Join us on Sunday, July 26th for our annual practice of Summer Sabbath. There will be no in-person Sunday Gathering that day, as we invite you to take this time to create intentional space to slow down and connect with God. To help facilitate that, we have created a Summer Sabbath Personal Retreat. You can find it on the Church Center App under the "Resources" tab on our New Bern page. Please join us as we rest in Him together.
