Don't ever forget the why.

The moment we lose sight of why God saved us, we begin to lose the very motivation that keeps us standing. In 2 Corinthians 4:1, the Apostle Paul writes, "Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart."

Paul’s endurance wasn't fueled by his own strength, his worldly results, or the recognition of men. It was fueled by a profound, daily gratitude. He never forgot who he was before Christ, nor the immense mercy that reached down to redeem him.

When we forget where God found us, our perspective shifts in a dangerous way. We start to view our faith through the lens of what we can get rather than what we have already been given. Gratitude is the fuel for the Great Commission. If you find yourself losing heart today, look back at the mercy shown to you. That same mercy is your mandate to keep going.

Join us this week as we begin our series, "Don’t Give Up," exploring the transformative power of God's grace in our daily walk.

Sometimes an open door is just a distraction from what matters most. In 2 Corinthians 2:12-13, Paul found a wide-open door for ministry in Troas. By every earthly metric, it was a winning opportunity. Yet, he walked away. Why? Because his spirit found no rest without his brother, Titus. Paul understood a truth we often overlook: People always come before platforms. In our mission for the Great Commission, it is easy to chase the results of an open door while neglecting the people beside us. But if we lose our connection to our brothers and sisters, the platform loses its purpose. At New Vision Ministries, we aren't a stage; we are a training ground for a connected spiritual family. We prioritize relationships over results and reconciliation over reputation. The Body of Christ is built on love and mutual support, not just the pursuit of an opportunity. Are you prioritizing your platform over your people today? Remember, our greatest ministry is often found in the person God placed in our path. Join us this Sunday at 10 AM as we grow together.

Imagine the relief of being lost in deep, shadowy woods, when you suddenly hear the voices of a search party. You don’t have to find your own way out anymore; you simply fall into the arms of the ones who came to save you.\n\nIn our series, "A Glory That Surpasses," we are exploring the incredible reality of the New Covenant. 2 Corinthians 3:12 tells us: "Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold." This boldness isn't born of our own strength or navigation skills. It is rooted in the fact that the veil has been lifted. We aren't stumbling or trying to manufacture our own light; we are walking in a glory that never fades. Secure in Christ’s finished work, we don’t have to live timidly or hide behind masks. We can step into the world with confidence, knowing we have already been found.\n\nAre you still trying to find your own way through the trees? You don't have to walk alone. Join us this Sunday at 10 AM as we continue to lean into the security and freedom found only in Jesus. See you there!\n\n

Have you ever felt like you were looking at a beautiful landscape through a heavy, dusty curtain? You know the beauty is there, but the details are obscured.

In 2 Corinthians 3:14-16, the Apostle Paul speaks of a 'veil' that covers the heart and mind, keeping us from truly grasping the depth of God’s glory. It is a spiritual barrier that leaves us reading the Word without fully knowing the Author.

But here is the transformative promise for us today: the moment we turn to the Lord, that veil is taken away.

It’s like the final clearing of a complex legal contract: suddenly, the terms are clear, and the inheritance is yours. In Christ, the shadows of the old covenant are replaced by the radiant light of His presence. We no longer have to guess or struggle to see; the Spirit provides us with clarity and freedom.

Have you experienced that moment where the 'curtain' finally dropped and you saw Christ for who He truly is?

Join us this Wednesday at 6 PM for Bible Study or Sunday at 10 AM as we wrap up our series, 'A Glory That Surpasses.' Let’s seek that clarity together as a family.

Have you ever felt the weight of a debt you simply couldn't pay? In the legal framework of the Old Covenant, the Law served as a "ministry of condemnation." It was glorious because it reflected God's perfect standard, but it left us standing guilty before a holy Judge.\n\nBut look at the beautiful promise in 2 Corinthians 3:9: “For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.”\n\nWhile the Law identified our sin, the Holy Spirit brings the "ministry of righteousness." This isn't about our performance or legal standing; it is about the transformative power of the Gospel settling our account and making us right with God through Christ. This glory doesn't just shine on the surface: it changes us from the inside out.\n\nIn our series, "A Glory That Surpasses," we invite you to move from the shadow of condemnation into the radiant light of righteousness. You are defined not by your past debts, but by the One who paid them all.\n\nJoin us this Sunday at 10 AM as we dive into the Word together. We look forward to seeing you!

A mirror can show you dirt on your face, but it cannot wash you clean. 🪞🧼

In our "A Glory That Surpasses" series, we’re looking at 2 Corinthians 3:7–11. Paul explains that the Old Testament Law is like a mirror: it's holy, it's perfect, and it's given by God. It shows us exactly where we fall short. But the Law was never meant to be the cure; it was meant to reveal the need for one.

That’s where the New Covenant comes in. If the Law that exposed sin came with glory, how much greater is the glory of the Spirit that actually saves and transforms? Christ doesn't just show us the "dirt" of our sin; He washes us clean and gives us the power to live a life of righteousness from the inside out.

Stop trying to fix yourself with the mirror. Come to the Water.

Join us this Sunday as we continue to grow together in the Word. We are here to train, support, and live out our faith as a connected spiritual family.

Are you tired of trying to measure up? Faith shouldn't feel like a checklist of "dos" and "don'ts" that leave you exhausted. The New Covenant offers a profound shift: from the heavy burden of external rules to the life-giving freedom of an internal relationship with God.

In our "A Glory That Surpasses" series, we’re diving into 2 Corinthians 3. Paul teaches that while the Law was glorious, it was a "ministry of death" written on stone: it revealed God's standard but couldn't provide the power to meet it.

The New Covenant is a ministry of the Spirit written on our hearts. The Holy Spirit doesn’t just give us a manual; He gives us a new nature. He transforms our "want-to" before our "do," moving us from the pressure of legalism to the inside-out power of grace. This is the glory that remains!

If you're living under the weight of expectation, discover the freedom of being truly known. Join your spiritual family here in New Bern.
