Welcome back to school, teachers, students, and staff! We’re praying for you, especially our neighbors at Trent Park Elementary!

This is a good reminder to be extra safe on the roads tomorrow—watch out for those busses!

Tomorrow is the FIRST DAY of school for our Traditional Schools 🎉🎉🎉

That means the big yellow buses will be back on the roads!

Leave yourself a little extra time, be patient and stay alert around school buses and bus stops.

Did you know passing a stopped school bus can result in a $500 fine and five points on your driver’s license? If a driver strikes a child, this becomes a felony.

Check out this handy refresher on North Carolina’s school bus stop laws, and remember: Stop for school buses. Watch. Wait.

Thank you to our Congregations for Children team for leading the way in showing some love to the teachers and staff of Trent Park Elementary as the new year draws near, our Ellie Stockton United Women in Faith circle for making salads and desserts, and our local Domino's Pizza (at the corner of Simmons and Neuse) for donating the pizza. Thanks to Sandra who also came to greet families at open house! If you want to be the part of our partnership with Trent Park this year, please be sure to let Sandra know!
