Join us this Sunday for the next message in our Breaking the Cycle series: “Winning the War in Our Minds V: Confronting Cycles by Being Doers of the Word.”

This week, we continue in James 1:19–25 and look deeper at the ministry of God’s Word as a mirror. Examination shows us what needs to change. Restoration brings us back into alignment. But transformation is where God begins to make us look more like Christ from the inside out.

Through 2 Corinthians 3:18, we will see how believers are transformed “from glory to glory” as we behold the Lord with unveiled faces. God does not just want us forgiven. He wants us changed. What we hear in the holy place must be lived in the marketplace.

Come ready to receive the Word, remove the veil, and allow the Holy Spirit to do His transforming work in your life.

Happy Mother’s Day and welcome to Dayspring Christian Center!

Today, we continue our series “Breaking the Cycle by Winning the War in Our Minds IV” with the message “Confronting Cycles by Being Doers of the Word” from James 1:19–25.

Cycles continue when we hear truth but do not respond to truth. James reminds us that deception can happen when we mistake listening for obedience. God’s Word is not just a mirror that shows us what is wrong, it is also a place of restoration and transformation. When we stop blaming others, take ownership, and allow the Word to examine us, cleanse us, and change us, freedom becomes possible.

Today, we also honor and celebrate mothers, spiritual mothers, grandmothers, mentors, and every woman who has helped shape lives through love, wisdom, sacrifice, and faith.

Join us as we worship, receive the Word, and believe God for cycles to be broken.

Join us for Tuesday Night Bible Study as we continue our series “Breaking Cycles: From Patterns to Purpose IV” with the lesson “Walking in Freedom Means Living in a New Direction.”

Freedom is not just a moment at the altar. It is a lifestyle of abiding in Christ, remaining in His Word, and allowing the Son to make us free indeed. In John 8:31-36, Jesus teaches that true freedom is not based on religious background, family lineage, or outward appearance, but on continuing in His Word and being delivered from the bo***ge of sin.

Through the life of Samson, we will see how a person can be called, gifted, and full of potential, yet still become enslaved by unchecked habits, wrong desires, and spiritual desensitization. Samson was born to be a deliverer, but because he drifted from God’s direction, he became bound by the very enemies he was called to overcome.

Tonight, we are learning that walking in freedom means more than breaking loose. It means living in a new direction.

20 Days In…

Day 19 and we’re still moving forward. Every beam, every step, every decision is building something greater than what you see right now. Progress is happening, and purpose is being built right in front of us. This is more than construction… this is vision becoming reality.
