Forest Park Presbyterian Church U.S.A. (New Berlin, WI)

Forest Park Presbyterian Church U.S.A. (New Berlin, WI) Join us for Sunday Service at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome to worship with us, join us for fellowship and participate in our activities.

The hope of Forest Park Presbyterian Church is to be a vibrant, thriving, and model member of our community. In an era where people in our community and nation are naturally self-serving, we strive to be an economically, politically, and generationally diverse community while still holding true to the central tenets of Christianity as expressed by the Presbyterian Church (USA). We believe that God

uses this diversity to guide us as we strive to live out our Mission Statement. We recognize that the world is changing around the church in profound ways and in order to stay relevant in an increasingly cynical society we must embrace change rather than isolate ourselves from society. We understand that change is difficult, but firmly believe that through prayer and conversation, we will find ways to engage our community and encourage others to join us in our journey with Christ. We strive to live our vision through various events supporting local, national, and international causes. We continue to engage the community in efforts to alleviate suffering and by participating in various mission projects of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Worship plays a central role in the life of the congregation and we keep our services lively and engaging with a variety of music, occasional multi-media presentations, and humor.

I have had trees on my mind a lot lately, as I have worked with the Committee on Local Arrangements for the General Assembly. The theme verse for GA this year come...

Things are starting to bloom! You know I love this season - even though it makes my eyes itch and my sneezes a constant companion for a few weeks. Flowers and greenery are popping up all over, and bright colors are filling our vision everywhere we look. It is a welcome relief after a dark and wet an...

Risen Christ, the Easter story is a reminder that nothing could contain you—no tomb, no body, no violent act. You are alive in the world, unfettered and beckoning us to follow. Lead me to the places you have called me to be. Show me where you’re headed. I want to be there, too. Amen.
