The Church at Avenue South

The Church at Avenue South Our mission is to engage the whole person with the whole gospel of Jesus Christ anywhere, anytime, with anybody. Sundays at 9:00 and 10:45AM.

The Church at Avenue South is a regional campus of Brentwood Baptist Church. OUR VISION

In response to God’s leading, we will pursue 10,000 “disciples making disciples” relationships as a result of initiating 500,000 gospel conversations in which we will share the whole gospel of Jesus Christ with our neighbors and nations; and we will create a church multiplication movement that results in 100 h

ealthy congregations in Middle Tennessee and beyond. WHAT WE BELIEVE

Simply put, we believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Everything we are and everything we have comes from Him and works together for His purpose. And so we worship Him. We believe that the Bible is God’s true and perfect Word. It is our road map for navigating this journey we call life. And so we actively pursue discipleship of Jesus through the study of the Scriptures. We believe that Jesus came into the world not to condemn the world, but to save it. We believe that we are most like Him when we show love for one another through relationships and through service.

Today we had the privilege of commissioning two mission teams as they prepare to serve in Toronto and Guatemala. 🌎

Moments like this are a powerful reminder that the Great Commission is not just a command for a few, but a calling for all of us. We are grateful for these men and women who are saying "yes" to going and making disciples among the nations.

Would you join us in praying for these teams as they share the hope of Jesus, build relationships, and serve alongside our ministry partners?
