The Church at Avenue South

The Church at Avenue South Our mission is to engage the whole person with the whole gospel of Jesus Christ anywhere, anytime, with anybody. Sundays at 9:00 and 10:45AM.

The Church at Avenue South is a regional campus of Brentwood Baptist Church. OUR VISION

In response to God’s leading, we will pursue 10,000 “disciples making disciples” relationships as a result of initiating 500,000 gospel conversations in which we will share the whole gospel of Jesus Christ with our neighbors and nations; and we will create a church multiplication movement that results in 100 h

ealthy congregations in Middle Tennessee and beyond. WHAT WE BELIEVE

Simply put, we believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Everything we are and everything we have comes from Him and works together for His purpose. And so we worship Him. We believe that the Bible is God’s true and perfect Word. It is our road map for navigating this journey we call life. And so we actively pursue discipleship of Jesus through the study of the Scriptures. We believe that Jesus came into the world not to condemn the world, but to save it. We believe that we are most like Him when we show love for one another through relationships and through service.

Faith shared. A life changed. A legacy continued. 🤍

We had the joy of celebrating Conlee's baptism alongside her former Belmont athletic director and mentor Betty Wiseman. A beautiful picture of what can happen when we faithfully invest in others, share the hope of Jesus, and walk alongside the next generation.

Never underestimate the impact of a conversation, an invitation, or years of mentorship. God uses ordinary faithfulness to make an eternal difference.

Every Sunday, we gather in different communities across Middle Tennessee, but we are all part of one church family with one mission.

On September 13, all nine campuses are coming together for our Churchwide Summit—a night to worship, celebrate all God has done across our church, and look ahead with anticipation to where He is leading us next.

This is more than a gathering. It’s a chance to see the bigger picture of the church family you’re a part of. Nine campuses. One church. Together in one room.

We had the best time kicking off a new semester together last night, and we’re so grateful to have our college community back in the room! 🤍

The Lord is moving in this community, and it’s so special to see students growing in their faith, building meaningful friendships, and doing life together.

There’s something special about seeing students gather around God’s Word, ask real questions, grow in their faith, and learn what it looks like to follow Jesus in everyday life.

This is what community is all about. Growing in truth, building meaningful community, and becoming more like Jesus together.
