“Never Stop Believing”

Philippians 4:13

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

As Christians we great each day with optimism. We must never stop believing that God has a unique place and season for each one of us. He was born on December 27, 1999 in Queen Creek, Arizona to Shawn and Carrie Purdy. He played college football at Iowa State University. In April of 2022 his dream of being an NFL player came true. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers. The blessing also brought a title that was not preferred. You see, as the last person chosen in the draft, he was bestowed the annual title of “Mr. Irrelevant”. The title dated back to 1936. However, Brock Purdy would not let the label define his future. He came to camp and worked hard in practice every day. Purdy kept believing his gift would have a place. In December of 2022 with the first and second string quarterbacks injured, as a rookie, he started the game. His team not only won the game, they beat the Tom Brady led Tampa Bay Buccaneers 35-7. It was one of the best performances by a rookie starting his first game in the history of the NFL. It was an almost flawless game by Brock Purdy! He kept working hard and giving his best and in May of 2025 Brock Purdy, “Mr. Irrelevant”, became one of the highest paid players in NFL history, signing a contract valued over $200 million dollars. When we keep believing, regardless of labels or environments, God can elevate us to unbelievable outcomes!

When we keep believing:

1. We are celebrating who God made us to be!

I will give thanks to You, for am I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works , And my soul knows it very well.
Psalm 139:14

2. We are claiming the best for our lives each day!

“The words of a man’s mouth are as deep waters; The wellspring of wisdom is as a flowing brook.”
Proverbs 18:4

3. We are reminding the devil we will never let go of our joy!

“And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!””
Nehemiah 8:10

Each day commit to:

(A) Speaking positives words about your health!

“A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.”
Proverbs 15:4

(B) Speaking positives words about your family, friends, colleagues, classmates and neighbors!

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
3 John 1:2

(C) Speaking positive words about your resources!

“The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”
Psalms 24:1

Prayer: Lord I commit right now to speak words of hope and positivity in my life knowing that every good and perfect gift comes from you.

Lord Lift Me Higher”

Psalm 28:7

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.”

What a joy it is to know that we serve a God with unlimited power who is always present and willing to do the amazing! All we have to do is make the request. She was given a unique gift from birth of talent and determination. She fell in love with tennis at a young age. Her two favorite players were Venus and Serena Williams. Her parents gave up their careers and moved from Atlanta to Delray Beach, Florida to support her dream of being a great tennis player. Her dad became her primary coach and mother was her home school teacher. Cori Dionne “CoCo” Gauff trained, learned, and prepared. She kept her head down and continued to focus on getting better. CoCo maximized her gift and “won the USTA Clay Court National 12-and under title at the age of 10 years and three months to become the youngest champion in the tournaments history”. She turned pro in 2018 and the rest is history. Coco Gauff has won 10 singles titles. In 2023 Coco won the US Open becoming the first American teenager to Win US Open since Serena Williams in 1999. In 2025 at the French Open, she became the first American in 10 years to be crowned the Women’s Singles Champion defeating the number one ranked player in the world. Coco recently won the Cincinnati Open. When we trust God and do not doubt, opportunities are limitless!

When God lifts you higher:

1. The unreachable becomes attainable!

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”
Ephesians 6:10

2. Your attitude about each situation in your life is met with optimism!

“Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually. Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;”
1 Chronicles 16:11-12

3. Your doubts and fears are removed!

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31

Start today:

(A) To have unlimited trust that God would guide you to your destiny.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Jeremiah 29:11

(B) To focus on each new challenge as an opportunity for God to do something special in your life.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Philippians 4:13

(C) To partner with God and plan your next big dream regardless of your season in life.

“In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall. God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.”
Psalms 18:29-30

Prayer: Lord thank you for the privilege of the lifting up experience when we reach out to you.

“Just Keep The Faith ”

Joshua 1:9

“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

As Christians we must be focused on the destination God has for our lives. There are times when there are obstacles that seem insurmountable. We must keep the faith! In the town of Towson, Maryland on June 30, 1985 Fred and Debbie Phelps were blessed with a son. They were proud of their son. In time his life would take an interesting turn. He was introduced to the sport of swimming as a youth. Swimming would not seem to have been a long term option for him, because he was initially afraid to put his face in the water. It is a good thing his parents did not allow him to quit the sport and stop trying. That son, Michael Fred Phelps III is now the most decorated Olympian of all time, with a total of 28 medals, including 23 gold medals. The launch taken by Michael Phelps has rewritten the history books of Olympic swimming! Let today be the start of a new opportunity for you. Take advantage of the gift God has given you. Always remember, if you have the faith God has the power!!!

When you keep the faith:

1. You experience the presence of an almighty God!

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.”
Proverbs 18:10

2. You realize that you are never alone!

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6

3. You are able to strengthen your walk and relationship with God!

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
Luke 1:37

Start today:

(A) To expand your spiritual horizons for your future.

“A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”
Proverbs 18:16

(B) To recommit to “walking by faith and night by sight”.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1

( C) To trust God again in spaces where the answer to a request has not yet been revealed.

“But without faith it is impossible we to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Hebrews 11:6

Prayer: Father we thank you that we are protected and provided for as we step into our destiny at each season of our journey.

“Trust The Timing
Of God “

Psalms 46:10

Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.

As Christians waiting can become difficult. We sometimes want God to move right now. Be assured that God always has the best in mind for you no matter how long it takes. Auburn University had athletic greatness in the 1980s. Legends Charles Barkley, Bo Jackson, and Frank Thomas had fantastic collegiate careers and became great pros. There was also Ambrose “Rowdy” Gaines IV. He was a tremendous swimmer for Auburn University. Gaines set multiple records and was one of the fastest swimmers in the world. He was Southeastern Conference Athlete of the Year 1981”. Gaines looked forward to competing in the 1980 Olympics, but was not able to because of the 1980 United States-led Moscow boycott. When he graduated from Auburn he stopped swimming for six months. He assumed he had missed his Olympic opportunity. His father convinced him to try out for the 1984 Olympics. He qualified and won 3 gold medals in the summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California and continued to share his gift. Just think, if Rowdy Gaines had not had the encouragement of his father, he might have missed the timing of God. Keep trusting the timing of God! Keep believing God to do the miraculous!

When you trust the timing of God:

1. Your patience muscle grows!

“Wait on the Lord: be of good
courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”
Psalms 27:14

2. Your are testifying about the power and presence of God!

“Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”
Genesis 18:14

3. You are reminding the world that God will always have the last word!

“The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.”
Lamentations 3:25

Start today:

(A) To place before God unfinished assignments.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6

(B) To create a vision list and give it to the Lord for clarity and clearance.

“And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
Luke 18:27

(C) To lift another believer up to the Lord who is running short on patience and perseverance.

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
Galatians 6:9

Prayer: Lord as I meet each day with optimism, remind me that your timing will guide me to the blessings in my future.

“It’s Time To Push On”

Ephesians 3:20

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”

As Christians life is constantly changing. We must keep a positive attitude and remember God is Able.
She was born July 21, 1979 and with a “hearing disability and a speech impediment. She described her childhood self as “introverted, lanky, tomboyish with a will to succeed”. She realized it made her different but she turned the challenge into an opportunity for greatness. Tamika Catchings at the age of 10 stated to her family that she was going to the NBA and become a professional basketball player. She took the challenges that life presented her and soared tremendously. Tamika Catchings went on to become a state championship high school basketball team member and NCAA national championship team player at the University of Tennessee. Tamika won an WNBA title with the Indiana fever and was named MVP of the league, MVP of the championship series as well as defensive player of the year. Tamika has represented the United States in international competition as and has won three Olympic gold medals. She was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame along with superstars Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, and Tim Duncan. Her life is a testimony of what can happen if you truly remember God and push on. When you speak to Tamika Catchings she will always remind you of the goodness of the Lord and that God is able to carry you to your destiny!

When you remember to push on:

1. You trust God to make the difference in each phase of your life!

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5

2. You step into each day with optimism!

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28

3. You push forward knowing God has you covered!

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”
Psalm 121:1-2

Start today:

(A) To step into your destiny with confidence.

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
Psalm 139:14

(B) To speak words of life into the lives of others.

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:19

(C)To trust God to take you higher in every situation.

“If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”
Daniel 3:17-18

Prayer: Lord we thank you for the daily reminders that you are able and in control.
