If you are going to the Henry County Fair https://henrycountyfairgrounds.com/henry-county-fair this week, be sure to get some ice cream from the Lions Club. They helped support our event last year with the city council candidates. Also, NapNaz and Liberty Chapel are cooperating serving food this year. We have one couple in our church who go to Liberty Chapel's early service and then come to ours. NapNaz is very active in the Napoleon Area Ministerial Association, and we appreciate the work they do.

I ordered this pot from Soaring Arts Studio, as well as a few others for a few pastors I know. As you can see, the pot is a little misshapen, but I like it this way. It reminds me that we have the treasure of the gospel, as 2 Corinthians 4:7 reminds us, "... in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us."

If you've never been to Soaring Arts Studio in downtown Napoleon, it's a ministry of the Filling Home that provides adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities to explore and express their creativity in art. Their work can be seen at Soaring Arts Studio, Top Dog & Mya's Sweet Treats on Oakland Avenue on the north side of the bypass, and elsewhere.
