Scripture Sunday ๐
Paulโs call to unity was never a call for uniformity in personality, preference, or opinion. It was a call to agree in the Lord, to be rooted together in Christ above all else.
Christian unity is not formed through compromise with the world, but through shared holiness, shared mission, and shared love for Jesus Christ. The Church is strongest when we keep our hearts centered on Christ, extend grace to one another, and seek the mind of Christ together. Unity does not mean the absence of differences; it means we surrender to the same Savior.
As we approach General Conference, there will be many perspectives, ideas, and convictions about what is best for the future of the Church. Yet above every preference and proposal, may we remember our higher calling: to agree in the Lord.
๐ Gracious Father, may we listen with humility, speak with grace, remain open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and seek together what most honors Christ and strengthens His Church. Amen.
