You don’t have to have it all figured out.

You don’t need a perfect plan or every question answered. Sometimes, following God starts with simply being willing to take the next step.

You might not know exactly where it will lead. But you can trust the One who does.

What’s your next step?

For communities like this one in the mountains of Lesotho, the distance to essential services can be significant.

What may look like a short distance on a map can mean hours of difficult travel over rugged mountain roads.

MAF pilots like Deborah Francois help make that distance significantly shorter, connecting remote communities with medical care, essential supplies, education, and people who are there to share the love of Jesus.

For people living in remote places, access can change everything. That’s why we fly.

What makes someone a good fit for MAF?

It starts with Jesus.

We’re looking for people who genuinely want their work and their lives to point back to Him. People who are growing in their faith, willing to serve others, able to work through hard things, and ready to learn from people and cultures different from their own.

The skills matter. The experience matters. But serving with MAF is ultimately about following Jesus and joining what He is already doing around the world.

That’s why we’re not just looking for people to fill positions. We’re looking for Christians who want their everyday work to be part of their life with Christ.

One of the biggest misconceptions about serving overseas is that you have to know exactly what you’re doing before you start.

You don’t.

A lot of people who serve with MAF started with questions, not certainty. They had careers, families, responsibilities and plenty of reasons to hesitate.

Exploring doesn’t mean you’ve made a commitment. It just means you’re willing to learn more.

If you’ve ever wondered whether MAF could be a fit for you, start there. Tap the link in bio to learn more.

There’s something about seeing an airstrip from above that puts the journey into perspective. For MAF pilots, every landing means getting someone or something where it needs to go. A community, a medical team, supplies, or the hope of the Gospel.

That’s why we fly.

Your skills matter.
The things you’ve learned, the experience you’ve gained, and the work you’ve become good at can be used to serve people far beyond where you live.
MAF creates opportunities for people to bring those skills into a mission that reaches communities around the world.

More than 20 years of translation, recording, and dedication led to this moment.
For the first time, the Korowai people have the Gospel of Mark in their own language.
Along with printed copies, audio recordings were also distributed so that everyone, including those who cannot read, can hear God’s Word in a language they understand.
It is our prayer that having the Gospel of Mark in the Korowai language will encourage people to read, hear, and understand Scripture more deeply, and ultimately apply God’s Word in their everyday lives.

When WWII pilots first envisioned using small aircraft to help the gospel spread to hard-to-reach areas, they couldn't have imagined what missionary aviation looks like today. From Pipers to Caravans, from shortwave radio to satellite VSAT, the tools have evolved.
Mission Aviation Fellowship
But one thing hasn't changed: MAF's mission to share the love of Jesus Christ so that isolated people will be physically and spiritually transformed.
Mission Aviation Fellowship
That mission needs new pilots. New mechanics. New IT minds. New teachers willing to answer the call.
