Update on Larry Voigt from Glenda:

“He’s doing fine today. Lots of visitors!! Only negatives: couple of coughing spells and TERRIBLE chicken enchiladas. He said, “I don’t think they know what chicken enchiladas are.” 😂 Positive: he felt the nurse squeeze his right leg! Also, he might have surgery on his wrist tomorrow. Still waiting on confirmation from doctors.”

Update on Larry Voigt:

Darren was able to speak with him and Glenda yesterday. He made it through surgery ok but had no feeling from the chest down. Please, keep them in your prayers.

Glenda sent an update this morning: “Not much change today. He felt pressure under his foot today which is good. Praying for visible improvement even in the smallest measure, so that he will be encouraged.”

HIGH PRIORITY PRAYER REQUEST:

"Please, pray for Larry Voigt who was involved in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday. He will likely be in ICU for at least a week with a spinal cord injury."

He is currently in surgery. Larry is our new Blue Cap with SBC Disaster Relief who just gave a report at the Exec. Board on Tuesday evening. He and Glenda are precious people who spread the love of God wherever they go.

Our DOM is on the way to see him now. If you want more personal details, Glenda is sharing them on her FB page. Thank you for praying!

Staff, guests, and anyone who would like to join us, meet in the chapel and begin praying over each section of our campus, stopping for moments like this to offer extra support and prayer for any guests or visitors that ask for it.
