Paddle tire review pt. 1 (3d printed, from sweet3dprintz) on Ebay.
I ordered these 3d printed paddle tires from ebay a few weeks ago. Shipping was fairly quick and the price was right around $35 shipped. I know of a different seller of 3d printed paddles, but they start, price wise at around twice the money. And to be honest, I'm not a believer just yet...I've seen them run, but I'm still convinced, let's put it that way.
Well, several days later, these showed up. Again, being honest, the paddle "tire" portion of the print looked great. The "rim" portion on the other hand...horrible. I looked them over and decided to give it a go and see what happens...I ran them on a 2wd Slash that I had and I was actually impressed with the amount of traction that I had. It was quick...but it wasn't fast (iykyk). I geared up and down...again, quick, but not fast...I geared way up (bigger pinion/ smaller spur) and I think I hit my limit with gearing...going faster will require an esc/motor upgrade...part 2 in a few days.
