Trust His plans for you. We are not meant to “run our lives”. We were fashioned to rely on God for everything. The best part is, He is sooo good.

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places..."
(Eph.6:12 NAS)
Let me just remind you believers that you were born again into a REAL war - a violent and ongoing conflict between kingdoms. Your enemies are both spiritual and invisible, but they're never imaginary - they are more real than the very air that you breathe!
So, "stay sober in spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour...
But you resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world." (1Pt.5:8-9)
STAY STRONG!!!

This is true Biblical coaching. We want everyone to win. We all trying to expand the Kingdom.

“I am not saying this out of need. I have learned to be content no matter the circumstances. -Apostle Paul

What a shining example of what true repentance and recovery looks like. As a Recovery Coach, I hear all the things people are unwilling to do for a healthier life. Things like “I still need my weed”, or “I can’t stay at the mission”. They remain in their own way. Not willing to sacrifice their own will and let God do his.
The first chapter in the Bible I read in Early Recovery was The Acts. Reading about the Apostle Paul and all he endured was inspiring. All while praising and praying to God. What a beautiful thing. He was tortured, imprisoned, and beat within an inch of his life. And he continued to keep his focus on God.
Be willing to make yourself uncomfortable. Growth is uncomfortable. Pain is progress. Give it to God and let go of your understanding.

"Then I will give her her vineyards from there, and the valley of Achor as a door of hope." (Hos.2:15)
In the Bible, the names of people and places hold great significance and meaning. The name Achor is no exception. It means TROUBLE or troubling.
Also, valleys may represent for us those "low places" in our lives that we all must sometimes pass through. Obviously, we all prefer the mountain top experiences rather than the low places of the valleys. The truth is we need them both.
The Chines language is written using characters, unlike the letters we use when writing in English. The word crisis is written using two characters. One character represents danger, while the other represents opportunity.
Doors can also have symbolic meaning in the scriptures. An open door may speak to us of a "door of opportunity" Another thing that they may represent are "places of transition from one reality to another".
Sometimes, we must pass through a certain place or an experience that involves trouble in our lives. God has purpose in allowing you and I to pass through the valley of trouble. There are certain things of tremendous value and importance for your life and future that cannot be obtained in any other way. God sometimes hides opportunities for you in the midst of the valley of trouble. They can only be found by passing through... The key to discovering the opportunity that's been provided for you is in the attitude you choose to take towards the valley of trouble that you must pass through. Choose wisely...
