We're one week away from the beginning of Family Faith Nights! Do you have a youth who will join us? Open for kids K-7! 8th grade and up are invited to be paired with a mentor for the year. Comment below or check in with your local leaders to learn more and get paired up!

Pathfinders ⛺ | 2-hour blocks for kids K-8 to learn in-depth about topics like reformation and Martin Luther, Jesus' disciples and discipleship, and church seasons and rhythms of faith

Kingdom Kids 👨‍👦‍👦| especially for our littles! Ages 2-5 welcome (and feel free to bring younger or older siblings too!) A parent/adult is required to attend

Sunday School ✝ | Zion and New Era host groups on Sunday mornings as well!

It's HOT out there! It's a great opportunity to do something nice for a neighbor - offer to mow their lawn, water their flowers, run an errand. Let's show this community what we are made of and the love of Christ we can share with our neighbors, strangers, and friends.

You may have heard about "God's Work Our Hands" - an initiative of the ELCA typically celebrated on a Sunday in September to uplift areas of service in local communities.

Well, within our Faith Together Muscatine congregations, we're joining forces to do an ENTIRE MONTH of God's Work Our Hands! How? By engaging in random acts of kindness.

It's our goal to capture (via picture) our hands at work in the next month (no names or faces please!) Then, upload your pictures using this link (https://tinyurl.com/GWOH2026) or the QR code on the flyer. No password needed! Please include a short caption or description of your action when you upload; the site will prompt you.

THEN, when we get pictures in from across our congregations, we'll flood our social media accounts, church bulletin boards, church newsletters, and any mode of communication we can! It's our goal to highlight how, even now, we ARE a part of God's Work in the world, and to encourage one another into service in Christ's name!

As we look to September, we look forward to the beginnig of many fall festivals and meals! Zion will host a Pork and Sauerkraut supper on Thursday, September 24 from 4-6 pm. Call Zion's church office (563-263-5074) or email ([email protected]) to purchase tickets. Tickets available until noon on September 23. Tickets will also be available at the door until sold out! Go enjoy a day or night out from cooking on July 15th. Our friends at Shepherd of the Cross Lutheran Church - Muscatine would appreciate it.

Reminder! A night off from cooking is coming! Join us at Applebee's on July 15 (anytime during the day!) and we will receive 25% of your order to support our driveway fund! A group of us will be gathering around 5pm (before Book Club), but feel free to join at any other time during the day!
