The Moms’ Spiritual Formation small group will resume its weekly Thursday morning meetings on September 10 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. upstairs in the Education Building. Childcare is provided. For more information, reach out to Kendra F.

Music Program Updates
Choir starts back next week, on Sept 9 with childcare provided. The choir is excited to welcome Judi Teston as the choir accompanist.

Handbells start back on September 16 with two new ringers, and we would love to have more.

For Christmas: Choir will be joining again with the Andrews FUMC choir (Jacob Gilbert, director) for two presentations of a cantata under the leadership of both directors. Our pre-worship pianists, Kerry Archer, Charlene Smith and Judi Teston, are already working on spectacular music for the Christmas season!

We are grateful for Sue Parker’s help once again with children’s choir and are thankful for nursery workers who provide child care
during choir rehearsals. Safe Sanctuary guidelines require us to have two people with kids at all times so if you would like to help out, please contact the church office.

Tomorrow is our monthly United Women of Faith meeting. All are welcome. It starts at 11:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Come at 10:30 if you are crafty and like to make greeting cards, same location.

This Sunday: the Annual Backpack Donation/Blessing with sorting and distribution on the 17th. Our goal for this year is to donate 75 backpacks to be distributed amongst the Murphy Elementary, Middle and High Schools. Please participate by donating a back-pack, supplies, or money. We will do the shopping to purchase remaining backpacks and supplies. Please bring them to the Church on Sunday, August 16, 2026. We will also place a collection box in the Narthex if you wish to bring the items in prior to August 16.
