This young couple has created meaningful and lasting connections with the students, making church a place where the kids feel known, valued, and excited to return each week. We partnered with to help refresh their Newark Drop-In Center last month. Our goal was to create a space that welcomes every guest with dignity, care, and compassion.

Volunteers assembled furniture, organized supplies, decorated, and deep cleaned to transform the space. Even the smallest task served as a reminder that every person is seen, valued, and loved by Jesus.

José has served on our Security Team for the last 4 years. When he serves, he treats everyone that walks in with kindness and respect. His favorite assignment is to be posted in Liquid Family Lobby, where he gets to interact with all the parents and kids coming in. José’s dependability and consistency in serving our church family is a wonderful example of Christ’s love in action.

Today we had some fun celebrating our volunteers 🎉
Whether they’re welcoming guests, leading kids, brewing coffee, running cameras, parking cars, or praying with someone, every role matters because every volunteer is empowered by the same Spirit for the same mission: helping people find and follow Jesus.
