A Taste of Greece in Your Backyard! Activities for Kids & Shop our Marketplace! Our Holy Trinity Parish, lead by Father Peter Delvizis, has had a wonderful ministry in sharing the new life “with Christ” and “in Christ” among its faithful and through them to all of the people. With the love of Christ, the Greek Orthodox of Union County, New Jersey resulted in the establishment of

the Holy Trinity Church organizational committee in 1963. The following year, three and one-half acres were purchased on Gallows Hill Road in Westfield to house the spiritual center for the area Greek Orthodox faithful. A parish center, with administrative offices, classrooms and a gymnasium/auditorium were built and the first religious services were conducted in October of 1966. For the following nine years this center would house all of the parish activities. In 1972, ground was broken for the new church. Through the spiritual leadership of Father Alexander G. Leondis the new church edifice was blessed by Archbishop Iakovos of America and the doors were officially opened on April 12, 1975. On November 2, 1980 Metropolitan Silas of New Jersey officiated at the Consecration of the Church after all the iconography, ecclesiastical furniture and decoration were completed. We have celebrated many anniversaries and during the last years. The Parish Center underwent additional construction and updates for the offices, auditorium, kitchen and more classroom space for our youth. As of the end of 2009 the Holy Trinity parish is comprised of 750 families and stewards.

Last night, our Big Night Out brought in a record crowd and brought down the tent as we all enjoyed a taste of Greece right in our backyard. The atmosphere was electric and the music was 🔥! Fans of all ages enjoyed the unforgettable performance and thank you to all of our volunteers for pulling off such a successful event.

BUT WE’RE NOT DONE YET! Stop by Sunday for more traditional music, dancing, food and a special visit from his Eminence Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey
