July 2026 Officer of the Month – Detective Sergeant Jared Halpern
The Evesham Township Police Department is honored to recognize Detective Sergeant Jared Halpern as our July 2026 Officer of the Month.
Det. Sgt. Halpern served the Evesham Township Police Department with dedication, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to his fellow officers and the community for 21 years. Throughout his career, Jared earned the respect of those around him through his work ethic, character, teamwork, and devotion to the law enforcement profession.
Following a courageous battle with cancer, Det. Sgt. Halpern recently passed away. In recognition of his distinguished service, leadership, and lasting impact on our department, Jared was posthumously promoted to the rank of Detective Sergeant.
As we continue to mourn the loss of Det. Sgt. Halpern, we also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our community for the tremendous outpouring of love, kindness, and support shown to Jared’s family and our police department during this incredibly difficult time. Your messages, gestures, and continued support have meant more to our officers and staff than words can express.
Det. Sgt. Halpern’s legacy will forever remain a part of the Evesham Township Police Department. We are grateful for his 21 years of dedicated service, his friendship, his leadership, and the lasting impact he made on so many.
