Cornwall Church Skagit Valley

Cornwall Church Skagit Valley Helping people find and follow Jesus. We gather on Sundays | 9 AM (pst)

Our Mission:
Glorify God by being a Christ-centered community where people discover and become all God created them to be. Our Vision:
“To alter the spiritual landscape one life at a time through Jesus Christ.”

Cornwall is a movement of individuals seeking to live out God’s vision for our church. God’s call on us is not to simply “go to church” but to leave the building and “be the church.” To

get “outside of the box” and make a difference in the lives of those we live around, work with, have fun with and share life with. We believe that as people enter the doors of Cornwall, they discover the life-changing message of Christ (come and see). Then they immerse themselves with others in community where they can grow in the knowledge of God (community). Subsequently, they live by serving others and entering in authentic, life changing relationships with them (go and be). Through these three boxes: Come and See, Community and Go and Be, we will be able to alter the spiritual landscape one life at a time.

This Father’s Day, we’re celebrating the dads, grandpas, mentors, and father figures who have encouraged us, cheered us on, and helped shape who we are. Join us for a weekend full of meaningful moments, and a chance to honor the men who make a difference. After the service meet us on the patio for community in the courtyard as we celebrate dad’s.

Today’s Summer Prayer Prompt focuses on the next generation. 🤍🙏

Take a few moments today to pray for the children of our church. Pray that they would come to know Jesus personally, grow in their faith, and discover just how deeply they are loved by Him.

Pray for their hearts to be tender to God’s voice, for wisdom and protection over their lives, and for the adults who are helping guide them in their faith.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” (Matthew 19:14)

Join us as we lift up the children of Cornwall today. ✨

Today’s Summer Prayer Prompt is a reminder that we are part of something much bigger than ourselves. 🤍🙏

Today, we’re praying for the global Church, for our brothers and sisters in Christ who face persecution for their faith every day.

Pray for strength when they are weary.
Pray for perseverance when the road is difficult.
Pray for unwavering faith in the face of opposition.
And pray that God would continue to empower their message as they courageously share the Gospel.

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16

Join us as we lift up the global Church today. 🌎✨

In a world full of voices telling us who we are, Jesus speaks a better word.

The Gospel of John ends with a powerful reminder: our identity is not found in our failures, accomplishments, insecurities, or even our own self-perception. It is found in the truth of what Jesus says about us.

John referred to himself as "the disciple whom Jesus loved" not because he was arrogant, but because he was overwhelmed by grace. More than any title, achievement, or role, this is what defined him.

And it defines us too.

Hear His voice above every other voice:
You are loved.
You are known.
You belong to Him.

"I tell you the truth..." — Jesus

Join us as we walk through our Summer Prayer Plan together, setting aside intentional time each day to connect with God, grow in our faith, and deepen our relationship with Him.

Whether you’re praying at your kitchen table, on your morning walk, during your lunch break, or before bed, every moment spent with Jesus matters.

Let’s seek Him together this summer. 🤍✨

"Your past may always remind you, but it does not define you in the eyes of God." — Andy Stanley

Peter knew what it was like to be reminded of his past. After denying Jesus three times, he returned to the familiar waters of fishing, carrying the weight of failure and regret. But in John 21, Jesus met him right there on the shore—not with condemnation, but with grace.

Three times Jesus asked Peter, "Do you love me?" Not to shame him, but to restore him. Peter's failure was not the end of his story. Jesus reminded him that his past did not define him—his relationship with Christ did.

The same is true for us. We all have moments we'd rather forget, but Jesus is in the business of redemption. He meets us in our brokenness, restores what has been lost, and calls us forward into His purpose.

Your past may remind you, but it doesn't define you. Jesus does.

Jesus met Peter at his lowest... and invited him to breakfast.
Join us for “Breakfast on the Beach” as we wrap up an unforgettable year in the Gospel of John and discover that grace always has the final word.
