Gospel Encounter seeks to know Jesus and make Jesus known. There are engaging discipleship classes for all ages.

Gospel Encounter is an evangelistic/missions organization founded by Daniel and Shauna Nalley that hosts outreaches and mission trips. The mission is to know Jesus and make Jesus known by being all things to all people. A core belief is that as Christians we are responsible for meeting the lost where they are by going to them and showing love in word, Spirit, and deed. Gospel Encounter headquarters is in Mount Vernon, Illinois, and meets every Sunday at 10:30 am for a worship service. Last Sunday was so sweet. The Lord was too good to us. Can’t wait to see you tomorrow!

Brad Butcher from Portland Oregon will be sharing with us tomorrow morning at 10:30am. Then at 6pm we have an Encounter Night where we expect God to meet us. After Encounter Night worship we will be commissioning our missional interns into the next season of their lives! Come join the fun!

Youth Hangout happens following service every other week. This is a great time for junior high and high school students to connect, eat lunch, play games, and have a Discovery Bible study.

Shout out to the GE missional internship alumni for helping host this.

Colossians 4:2, 5–6 (ESV) — Prayer + genuine conversation
