The Isabella County Restoration House(ICRH) Homeless Shelter at 555 N.
Main St., Mt. Pleasant is in need of volunteers for the week of July 26th
through August 1st.
Many volunteers are needed to make this a comfortable stay for the men, women and children seeking shelter. There are 3 days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) that volunteers are needed to prepare and serve dinner for 25 guests and 4 days
(Monday through Thursday)that local restaurants provide meals and volunteers are needed to serve and clean up.
We are also asked to help with morning shifts (7:00-9:00 AM).

Our Youth Group is hosting a shoe drive, and it ends this week. The drop-off DEADLINE is THIS Thursday, June 25th.
Please drop off gently worn and new shoes to the Sacred Heart Parish vestibule before 4:00 PM on Thursday. Questions may be directed to Karon at the parish office, 989.772.1385.

We are grateful to have had Fr. Daniel Christe at Sacred Heart for his first year as a priest. To acknowledge our gratitude and wish him well on his next assignment in Alma, we invite you to join us for refreshments (hospitality) after all Masses on the weekend of June 27/28. We still need several individuals to help with hospitality at the 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, June 28th. The church will provide the refreshments, so we just need your welcoming smile and helping hands for either time.

All are welcome to attend the Ordination itself, or any of the Masses of Thanksgiving (see photo.)

We had the most wonderful week exploring the nature of God in Rainforest Falls VBS this week. Students had an opportunity to discover more deeply the nature of their creator, all while having a blast! Thank you to all who made this week a spectacular experience!
