Reach Youth Ministries

Reach Youth Ministries The youth ministry of Mt. Pleasant First UMC. We are called to Reach Up, Reach Out, and Reach In! We Just come! See you there.

We are called to make disciples of all nations as discerned in Matthew 28:18-20 with the Great Commission from Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to fulfill that call through Reaching Up in worship, Reaching Out in mission, service, and evangelism, and Reaching In with discipleship and just hanging out! At this time REACH is meeting every Sunday at noon at Ponder, downtown for a drink on us, games, and

good conversations. We hope that all feel welcome as any youth grades 6-12 are welcome to join, you don't have to be a member, or even have to ask.

DAY TWO: We built school desks, repaired more bicycles, sorted donations from various Annual Conferences, made many, many more PDKS, did more weeding, emptied another truck, helped area church, checked and organized cleaning buckets, and prayed over a complete pallet of PDKs, and cleaning buckets. We also cleaned the warehouse. Oh! And some of us are Instagram stars!!!⭐️🌟⭐️

DAY ONE: We’ve repaired bicycles, put together baby layette kids and prayed for the moms and babies who will receive them, sorted wheelchairs, walkers, and other medical equipment, prepped old bleacher wood (Yes! Removing gum and more!) to ultimately become school desks, did grounds clean up around the lodge, unloaded trucks, sorted through endless donations from various Annual Conferences, and learned about a recent work trip to Honduras where MMDC donated, along with much more, much needed fire equipment and a large tracker for a plantain farm! 😮 OH! And cleaned the whole warehouse at the end of our work day.

Come hang out with us again on Friday, July 26! It’s another Summer Serve Day. We’re heading to Toni and Trish House (Auburn) to make dinner for the families and volunteers, and we might even do some yard work. DM Jennifer if you’re coming…it will help us know how much work we can get done!
