Ireen (on the left) is a 12 year old girl and one of 4 children. The father divorced the mother and left them without any support. The mother is doing whatever work she can to earn an income to care for the children.

Shyreen is the twin sister of Ireen. Both girls are in the 6th grade. Their older sister has already dropped out of school to become a housemaid. Ireen and Shyreen would love to be able to continue school. But it may not be a possibility without the help of a loving sponsor. You can sponsor one sister or both, the choice is yours. PHGN Prayer Request: Child Sponsorship Drive 2026!

Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1st, PHGN invites you to join us in our annual Child Sponsorship Drive. Our goal is to provide every child still waiting on our sponsorship list with a caring sponsor this month. 2026 is drawing closer to an end and the economic situation in the countries we serve has become increasingly severe. Without a sponsor, the children cannot begin or continue their education. They are the innocent victims of poverty - and we can so easily help, friends!

Child Sponsorship costs only $35 per month - just a few cents over a dollar a day. You can't even buy a coffee at McDonald's for that anymore! This monthly donation is tax-deductible and provides the child with both an academic education and Christian discipleship. It also connects the child with the sponsor, providing them with prayer and relational support through quarterly updates, and opportunities to email with them. It makes a huge difference in the child's life!

You can help! Please share our Child Sponsorship Drive posts this month on your newsfeed here on Facebook or Instagram. If you are a sponsor, please share your experience of sponsorship with others and encourage them to join you in the Child Sponsorship Program. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, pray in agreement with us for every waiting child to be sponsored! There is so much power in prayer. My husband and I sponsor several children through PHGN. Words cannot express the joy it brings. When you sponsor a child, you bless your own life, too. We began sponsoring children when we had young children still at home. It was so good for our family to extend Christ's compassion together to a child in need. It changes your child's heart to actively care for others. Sponsorship is a win for everyone.
