Four years ago, it was no coincidence that each of us had a women’s conference in our hometown placed on our hearts. It was where God led us, and we are so very glad that we followed. After much prayer, conversation, and reflection, we now feel God calling us to make the difficult decision to pause the Southern Iowa Women’s Faith Conference for 2027.
This conference has always been a labor of love, and it has been such a blessing to gather with so many incredible women over the past few years. The friendships, worship, encouragement, and stories of faith that have come from this event will always hold a special place in our hearts.
As many of you know, we are also wives, moms, daughters, employees, volunteers, and women navigating full seasons of life. Right now, we feel called to give our time and attention to the responsibilities and people God has placed directly in front of us. While this decision was not easy, we believe it is the right one for this season.
We are incredibly grateful for every woman who attended, volunteered, sponsored, prayed for, or supported this conference in any way. Thank you for helping create something that encouraged and strengthened women across Southern Iowa.
We’d be remiss to not also thank our mom and our husbands for all the time dedicated to help this vision come to life.
And to our speakers over the past few years—we love you dearly.
This isn’t necessarily goodbye forever, just a pause. We trust that if and when the time is right to gather again, God will make that clear.
Until then, keep pursuing Him, encouraging one another, and remembering that your everyday faithfulness matters.
With gratitude,
Madison and Chelsey 🤍
