It’s the fifth Sunday of the month, which means we’ve got a special Sunday ahead! πŸ€—πŸ€—

🌿 Faith Exploration with Pastor Hannah
Come join us for a lively conversation about the Bible, creation theories, and what they have to do with environmental justice. Bring your questions, curiosity, and ideas!

🎢 Prayer & Praise Service
We’ll sing some of our favorite hymns together, take turns choosing songs, and spend time moving through prayer stations with prompts for reflection and prayer.

If you’re looking for a church where you can engage your faith and the world around you, grow in community with kind people, ask honest questions, and worship in a supportive and inclusive Christian environment, then we might just be the place for you!

See you Sunday! πŸ’šπŸ’š

What happens when we get close enough to see people the way God does?

Acts 9:36–43 reminds us that the Spirit is at work when we move toward, not away from, the people our world pushes to the margins.

God refuses to see people through the categories the world uses to exclude them. Instead, God sees beloved people: worthy of dignity, belonging, justice, and love.

And if we want to glimpse what God is up to, we might start by listening to and standing alongside immigrants, single mothers, disabled people, incarcerated people and their families, LGBTQ+ people, and other marginalized neighbors.

We love when the Spirit transforms not just hearts, but our understanding of who belongs, who matters, and what justice looks like. 🌈✨

Looking for a faith community where following Jesus means practicing inclusion, community, compassion, and justice? You might have found your people.

Plot Twist: Female Disciples aren't the exceptions, they're the examples.

Acts 9 calls Tabitha a "female disciple" and that phrase carries a lot of weight. She wasn't a side character, an honorary disciple, or "one of the girls." She was a disciple. Full stop. Same calling. Same authority. Same status.

The world keeps trying to tell women they are less-than, but scripture says, "Actually...watch her."

Tabitha's story reminds us that God doesn't diminish women. God lifts them up, calls them forward, and gives their lives as examples to follow.

And honestly? We love a Bible story that completely wrecks the patriarchy. πŸ’…πŸ’…

Come hang out with us as we keep taking the Bible seriously and living out our faith in ways that lead to inclusion, community, compassion, and justice.
