There's an old harvest law in Leviticus 19 that tells farmers not to reap all the way to the edges of the field โ leave the corners standing, leave the fallen grapes where they fell, so anyone who needs to eat can come and gather.
That's the whole idea behind R House. We keep a corner uncut.
It looks like a food pantry that's open year-round โ for some students, it's where lunch comes from every single day. A care closet with soap and socks and laundry detergent, so nobody has to choose between a textbook and clean clothes. Dinner three nights a week. A winter coat that fits.
And it looks like something quieter, too: an unlocked door and a place to sit. No event, no sign-up, no entry fee. Just somewhere to be, any day of the week.
No affiliation required. No strings, no sermon at the door. Just the corner of the field, left standing on purpose.
Help us keep it that way. You can drop off food, host a donation box at your church or business, volunteer an afternoon โ or become a giving partner and help fund the whole thing year-round. Every gift is tax-deductible. ๐พ
