At our Pray and Play Lap Sit class on Wed., June 10, we observed some live Monarch butterfly caterpillars in a jar.
We will observe their changes over the next few weeks---from caterpillar to chrysalis, from chrysalis to butterfly! Then, we will release the butterflies in their natural habitat.
"We also have been having fun observing other insects and flowers with our magnifying glass container and our little nets.
Learning about God's creations in our world is so much fun!!!"
We are learning about God's many creations, including animals.

If anyone is interested in coming to our weekly free Pray and Play lap sit class held each Wed.from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at a local park (or at First Presbyterian Church if it is inclement weather), please contact the church office. 815-942-1871. We are a multi-Christian group of parents, grandparents with young children---ages birth through 5 years.
