New Community Christian Church At NC3 we love people 'where they are' while showing them the truth of Jesus. Meets Sunday 9 & 10:30!

The story of New Community Christian Church begins in the Fall of 2001 when a small group of people were meeting together in homes to fellowship and share their stories with one another. These people came from many religious backgrounds and they all had less-than-perfect experiences with church in the past. They were not sure what direction God was taking them, but God was definitely in control. I

n October of 2001 this group invited Pastor Kevin & Cindy Yandell to join them in these meetings. Within a few weeks it was decided that the group would enjoy meeting for worship and the first “unofficial” meeting was held on November 4 in the home of one of the group members.

What a FUN afternoon at our 2nd annual parking lot pickleball tournament!! The rain paused for just the right amount of time and we had a blast watching 14 teams battle it to the championship.

CONGRATS to our 2nd place silver medal winners Tim & Lorrie Craten 🥈 and to our grand champions, gold medal winners Mark & Sopheap Mitchell 🥇

Hey Church, we just wanted to share with you that our fellow NC3 member, Noelani Schomig, a second year nursing student at Carthage College, will have the opportunity to take a mission trip through World Gospel Outreach as part of her education curriculum.

Noelani will be traveling to Tegucigalpa, Honduras this January to help spread the word of God in small churches and assist with medical, dental, pharmacy, optical, and lice treatments.

She would appreciate your prayers as her team prepares for the trip. If you would like to support her financially, she has a GoFundMe page or you could connect with her mom, Krista at church. Thank you!!

Students aren’t just the future of the church, they’re part of the church TODAY.

They can know Jesus, be filled with the Holy Spirit, make disciples, and serve others right now.

We want this next generation of students to not only know about Jesus, but have a personal relationship with Him. They need a biblical foundation strong enough to answer life’s biggest questions, like:

Why am I here? What is real? Who is God? Do I really matter to Him?

“We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭78‬:‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬
